"Happy Birthday, baby," I whispered softly, leaning down to kiss my little princess on the forehead. Inaya looked up at me with those big, curious eyes, and a wide smile spread across her face, as if she somehow understood that today was special.

Her father stepped in and scooped her up into his arms. The moment he lifted her, she burst into a fit of giggles, her laughter filling the room with joy.

Watching them together, my heart swelled with a mix of emotions—love, happiness, and disbelief. I couldn’t quite wrap my head around the fact that our little Inaya had just turned one. How did time fly by so quickly?

As I watched them, I was reminded that Rihu, our firstborn, was also growing up fast. He would be turning six soon, and it felt like just yesterday he was the one giggling in our arms, just like his baby sister is now. The years have passed in a blur of diapers, bedtime stories, first steps, and endless laughter.

I glanced over at Ansh, my husband, who was twirling Inaya in his arms, her little hands reaching for his face as she continued to giggle.

We’ve been married for seven years now, and yet, every single day, I find myself falling in love with him all over again.

He looked so handsome in his black turtleneck t-shirt, perfectly paired with a beige coat. The way the dark fabric contrasted with the light coat made him stand out effortlessly, his presence commanding the room.

His sharp features were accentuated by the simplicity of the outfit, and I couldn’t help but admire him from across the room.

Even after all these years, he still had that same charm, the kind that made my heart skip a beat.
