I'm back! Sorry for the wait, I've been extremely busy with work and personal stuff.

Ok so.. I think I left off at my brother having to have vaccinations and shit.

Anywho. A few days go by, Oma called me and tells me my brother was whiny. (He's never really a whiny child unless he didn't feel good). I told her that the doctors office they went to does accept walk-ins'. My Oma took him to his doctor, then about an hour and a half later, she messaged me... he had the flu. Great. Now my little sister is going to get it, I have to tell 'Ben', since a few days prior, my siblings.. kids.. whatever you want to call them at this point, had been playing with his son.

Lunchtime came, and I went to his classroom, but he wasn't there, so I texted him and told him that he should keep a close eye on JR. since he was around my brother a few days prior. He said that he'd keep a close eye on JR, and thanked me for telling him.

I then called my Oma, and she said he was a whining, crying, and snotty mess.. poor baby, and that she laid him down for a nap to let him sleep it off.

To make a long story short, my little sister did end up getting the flu, my older sister that I was residing with ended up getting it. Myself and my sister's baby are the only two that didn't get it in our household. My nephew didn't get sick because my sister (before her milk dried out randomly) luckily, had pumped breast milk and stored it in the freezer.

Guys.. when I tell you breast milk is like a miracle drug for babies.. I ain't kidding.

I didn't catch the flu because.. well because I just don't get sick.. I can't even tell you that last time that I had been sick. I don't even remember the last time I was sick to be honest... wait I take that back.. I was 14 and had to be rushed to the hospital. I had bronchitis on top of the flu, a double inner ear infection, a kidney infection and a kidney stone.. that was rough. I guess I'm an overachiever when I do get sick 😂.

Quick A/N: At the time, I hadn't been sick for four years.

Damn.. come to think of it as of today, like as I'm writing this, I haven't been sick in over ten years.. sheesh.

Sorry.. squirrel.

Then about a day or two later, 'Ben' texted me and told me that he and JR had the flu.

Substitute.. yay 🙄. I hated that substitute.. she almost got me fired, but I won't get into that unless you want to know.

Anyway, school was school, it dragged ass. Work was work. Over the coarse of the following few days my schedule consisted of school, work, come home, made some homemade chicken noodle soup since my little sister couldn't really keep anything down, gave them their antivirals (and some Pedialyte to keep them hydrated), bathed them, put them to bed.. repeat. I was so exhausted.. both mentally and physically.

Let me tell you, my little sister will talk your ear off. I had to tell her be quiet sooooo many times because her voice was so hoarse she sounded like fucking golem from lord of the rings. ... My precious... sorry squirrel.

The weekend rolled around and my brother was better, so was my younger sister, though she still had some hoarseness. My older sister was getting over it. Blah. Blah. Blah.

'Ben' had been out for the rest of the week, so I decided to go to his house and check on him and JR. You should've fucking seen him lmao. When he opened the door, I busted out laughing. I was laughing so hard I was in tears.. he had tissues stuffed in each nostril. It was a funny sight but I did feel bad for him.

He told me to shut up and 'try having a runny nose that's also stopped up while taking care of a sick child, all while having body aches and throbbing headaches.
