Mackenzie's pov
I wake up being surrounded by my family and friends and someone hugging my torso. It was Matt. (Sorry if I confused you in the last chapter that was Matt's pov not Dylan's) I didn't do anything. I kept my eyes closed pretending to still be asleep. "I am so sorry I did this to you, I just want you to wake up, I miss you, I miss your beautiful smile,the way you scrunched up your nose when I kissed you, your beautiful singing ,you were an amazing girl,but I made you do this. I also Loved it when you had screamed My name during- "was all he could say before I cupped his face in my hands and kissed him. He was super shocked. He pulled away and said "I love you so Much Mackenzie "."I love you to Matt " I said. "I am so glad you are awake " He said hugging me tightly. "So what were you gunna say Matt "my sister asked giggling. She knew what he was talking about. I told her about it. She just giggled. "Umm nothing " he says blushing. "I am so glad you're awake little sister, but mom is pissed at you "She says. "For what?!"I say. "Trying to take your life like dad did " she said. "What? !"I say confused. "You don't remember Do you? "my sister said sounding surprised. "No he didn't mom said dad went into the army, but wouldn't be back for a long time " I say with tears running down my face. "Mackenzie, dad committed suicide two years ago. You watched it happen. "My sister said."They said you passed out from shock and hit your head hard and you forgot that dad killed himself in the lake. You lost your memory for a bit " She said tears running down her face. Just then my mom came In. She did look pissed. "Mackenzie Leigh Bertrand " my mom screamed. "What! "I nearly screamed at her. "Don't you dare yell at me young lady!"she said. "Why wouldn't yup tell me dad died in that lake "I yell at her. She looked surprised at what I had said. I saw tears come into her eyes. "Because you couldn't take it Mackenzie, you were in so much shock when you were in a coma that you would scream and still be unconscious for your father."She said to me. I let my own tears fall "when we're you gunna tell me He died in the lake "I say. "When you were emotionally ready "my mom says walking over to me. She then hugs me. "I am sorry I got mad,I just don't want to lose my baby "she says with tears in her eyes. I hug back. "I know mom. I love you "I say hugging back. She then gave me clothes and shoes. I walked to the bathroom. I locked the door. I changed into my long sleeved black shirt and jeans and slipped my vans on. I kept thinking about my dad. I was always a daddy's girl. I loved him with all my heart. He was funny,Kind,loving, caring and hard working. Then a flood of memories start to come back into my head.

Please tell my family I am sorry and love them with all my heart. I am sorry Vanessa(Mackenzie's mom) .I can't take it any more. Everything has gotten too much for me. I love you. Take care of Mackenzie and Justine. Tell Mackenzie that I am in the army and won't be back, but tell Justine the truth, she is old enough to understand. I love my family.

I run out side with tears in my face. I see footprints. It's raining out. I run to where the foot prints end. I see my dad in the deep part of the lake where he was on a boat with a rock tied with a rope around his legs. I see him about to jump. I run "Daddy No! "I scream. He doesn't hear me and drops the rock that pulls him down. I scream at what I see. I don't see him come up for air. I have a panic attack. Everything turns black.
My flashback ends. Tears run down my face. I wipe them away and walk out. I see Matt standing by the door. "Hey you alright "he asked. "Yeah. Just thinking about my dad "I say hugging him. He then picks me up bridal style and walks out the door with me. I was so tired. My mom signed me out and we left. I fell asleep on the ride.
I am shaken awake by Matt saying we were at home. He carried me in the house. I was put down. I went into the kitchen to get a drink.I grabbed water. I heard someone looking at the framed pictures. 'Oh no. Krista! ' I said in my head. I ran into the living room to see Matt holding a picture of Krista. Her full name was Krista Michelle Espinosa.
