7 years has passed. JAMES, EMMA, LILLY, ALEX, and MARK are now friends.
Now, in their teens, they are very curious and adventurous. But soon, their curiosity is going to turn everything upside down.

FADE IN

INT. OLD MANSION - KITCHEN - NIGHT

A dimly lit, eerie kitchen filled with antique kitchenware. The room is cold, and the air is heavy with an unsettling presence. Five friends - JAMES, LILY, MARK, EMMA, and ALEX - gather around a rusted dining table. In the center sits a mysterious, ancient-looking potato.

JAMES
(whispering)
Guys, I heard a legend about this potato. They say it's cursed.

LILY
(nervously)
Cursed? Don't be ridiculous!

MARK
(skeptically)
Come on, it's just a potato. What harm can it do?

EMMA
(cautiously)
Well, they say anyone who holds it for too long loses their soul and becomes a hollow prune.

ALEX
(laughing)
You can't be serious. It's just an old wives' tale.

JAMES
(serious)
I heard that years ago, a family lived in this mansion. They played a deadly game of hot potato with this very potato. But their laughter soon turned into screams. The curse consumed them.

EMMA
(chewing her lip)
Maybe we shouldn't mess with it. This shit doesn't feel right.

MARK
(grinning)
Aw, where's your sense of adventure? Let's play just some hot potato.

Reluctantly, they form a circle around the table, placing their hands on the cursed potato. James takes out his phone, ready to start the timer.

JAMES
Alright, guys. We'll pass the potato clockwise. The person caught with the potato when the timer goes off is eliminated.

They nod, tension building in the room. James starts the timer on his phone, and the game begins.

INT. OLD MANSION - KITCHEN - CONTINUOUS

As the game progresses, the atmosphere becomes increasingly eerie. Shadows flicker menacingly on the walls. The friends start to feel a sinister presence in the room, growing more paranoid with each passing of the cursed potato.

EMMA
(trembling)
Do you guys hear that whispering?

MARK
(nervously)
It's just your imagination. Let's just finish.

The timer continues to count down rapidly, adding to the tension. Sweat drips down their foreheads as they desperately try to avoid being caught with the potato.

Suddenly, the lights flicker, and a chilling wind blows through the room. The friends exchange panicked glances.

ALEX
(urgent)
We have to stop this!

But it's too late. The timer reaches its final seconds, and the room plunges into darkness.

EMMA
(panicking)
No! No, please! I didn't mean to!

Emma's face contorts with fear as the group watches in horror. The room darkens further, and an unearthly silence fills the air. The cursed potato glows with an eerie light in Emma's hands, as if absorbing her very soul.

JAMES
(trying to intervene)
The fuck. What's happening?

LILY
(teary-eyed)

Do something!

MARK
(desperate)

Do what?!

The room grows colder, and the whispers in the air become more distinct. They seem to permeate their very thoughts, urging them to keep silent. Eventually, Emma couldn't fight her demise, and her lifeless body lays there in the chair.

JAMES
(frustrated)
Oh, fuck! Fuck!! She's dead!

LILY
(whispering)
We can't tell anyone what happened here. No one will believe us.

JAMES
(whispering)
Look, listen. We have to dispose of Emma's body before the police find out.

LILY
(teary-eyed)
We can't just bury her here. The police will search the entire estate. How are we gonna get rid of her body?

MARK
(looking around)
There's an old abandoned well in the forest nearby. It's deep and isolated. We can lower Emma's body there.

ALEX
(nervously)
But what if someone sees us taking her? We'll be caught.

JAMES
(serious)
We'll wrap her body in a sheet
and carry her discreetly through the woods, avoiding any prying eyes.

The group gathers supplies - sheets, rope, and gloves - and carefully wraps Emma's body. They hoist her onto their shoulders and exit the secret room, their hearts pounding with dread.

EXT. OLD MANSION - WOODS - NIGHT

The friends navigate through the dense, eerie woods, their path lit faintly by the moonlight. Each step is filled with a mixture of despair and urgency.

JAMES
(whispering)
Stay quiet and stay together. We can't afford any mistakes.

The sounds of the forest amplify their fears. The rustling of leaves, the hoot of an owl, and the distant howling of wind send shivers down their spines.

They reach the abandoned well, a dark pit framed by overgrown foliage.

MARK
(looking down into the well)
It's deep enough. We need to tie the rope securely and lower her down carefully.

With trembling hands, they secure the rope around Emma's body and lower her into the well, bidding their final goodbyes.

LILY
(whispering)
Rest in peace, Emma. We're so sorry.

Once Emma's body is safely lowered, they release the rope, letting it disappear into the depths of the well. The weight of their guilt hangs heavily upon them.

EXT. OLD MANSION - WOODS - CLEARING - NIGHT

As the group leaves the well, a distant siren pierces the stillness of the night. The police are getting closer, intensifying their need for secrecy.

JAMES
(panicked)
We have to act normal and head back to the mansion. We can't let them suspect anything.

They move briskly, trying to compose themselves, hiding their anxiety and grief as they retrace their steps.

INT. OLD MANSION - FOYER - NIGHT

The friends enter the mansion with calculated nonchalance, their hearts racing. The sound of approaching police cars grows louder.

They take a deep breath, vowing to keep the secret buried just as they did with Emma.

FADE OUT.
