Chapter 4

I see a tall man walking down the hallway wearing a black mask and what seems to be like a spy outfit.He avoids eye contact with me and is gently holding Twinkie in his arms.Right when he sees me,Twinkie jumps out and runs to me.
"Twinkie!!!Oh my God I missed you so much buddy!!!"
I start crying of happiness while hugging him tightly.He barks and licks me and wags his tail happily.
Alex's Pov
I am not allowed to look at this girl but she sounds so happy right now.Her laugh and giggle are incredibly cute.I don't know what boss wants to do with her but I hope he doesn't hurt her.From what I heard,they know each other.The fact that he got out of jail not too long ago doesn't help because he is crazier now.....fucking sociopath.I hate working for him but I have no choice.
I try to look at the guy in front of me but he keeps avoiding me.It's like he is scared to look at me.I really want to see his eyes....
"I got you your dog,just like I said he is all good,now you listen to me.The guy right there,call him Alex,he is going to make sure that you actually kill the person that I need you to kill.He will always be by your side and take you where I will tell him to.If you need anything,you just tell him and he will get that for you.Don't pull anything stupid Rain.You know what will happen if you do.All you have to do is listen and obey me,you got it?"
I nod my head.
"I need you to tell me that."
"Yes yes I got it.I will behave and do whatever you want me to yes."
"Good girl."
He smirks at me and leaves the room together with Alex.
"Now you listen Alex.You know my rules already right?"
"Yes boss,avoid eye contact with her and do everything you tell me to do.These are some of the main ones."
"Good,now get everything ready,we need to hurry."

"I am gonna miss you,you better behave."
He comes close to me and pulls me to him,squeezing me by my waist.
"Will you?!"
"I-I will."
He kisses me on my lips and bites my neck whispering:
"Can't wait to make you mine again."
He slowly pulls something out of his pocket and wraps it around my eyes.
"W-what are you doing?"
He doesn't say anything and roughly grabs my arms,turning me around and pinning me against a wall.
"I don't know if I can wait much longer Rain..."
"No please,you are hurting me!"
"Hey Boss,we-oh,I am sorry to interrupt but ummmm the car is ready."
"Be right out!Guess you got lucky this time Rain....next time there's gonna be no interruptions."
I feel him running his hand down on my thigh,making me shiver in fear.He picks me up in his arms and starts walking somewhere.I can't see anything because I am blindfolded.I feel him placing me on a seat,which I am imagining is the car seat.Twinkie jumps on my lap and I pet him,hugging him.He is the only one that's able to keep me calm right now.I hear the car's engine starting up and I feel scared.I just want a peaceful life....
"Are you okay back there?"
My thoughts stop racing when I hear his voice.Why does it sound familiar?The voice from earlier wasn't his but it also sounded familiar....How many people stay at that place?
"I-I am okay I guess..."
"I am sorry I can't take your blindfold off,we need to pass a certain location before I can do that.Would you like some music?Just tell me the artist and the name of the song and I will put it on for you."
His voice is so soft and comforting.
"No,no it's okay."
"Are you sure?Don't be scared,you are not at that place anymore,I want you to feel comfortable Rain."
"Thank you,I appreciate it."
"You don't have to thank me."
"Okay, I don't feel like listening to anything to be honest."
"No problem.I want to ask you something.How did you get the little guy?"
"Twinkie?It was a gift from someone very dear and special to me....his name was Aiden."
"What happened if you don't mind me asking?"
"It's a long story but he committed suicide and I blame myself for his death every single day...."
"Did he....do it because of you?"
"I moved to another state with my aunt and I couldn't be there in person.He had so much going on....He was always there for me and I feel like I wasn't there enough.Fuck,if I wasn't sleeping that night,I could have talked him out of it......"
"I am so sorry Rain...."
I feel tears running down my cheeks,making this stupid blindfold soaking wet.Every time I talk about him,I cry my eyes out.It hurts,it still hurts to this day.....
Alex's Pov
I hear her sobbing and feel bad for her.I feel her pain and know what it's like to lose someone close to you.I want to make her feel comfortable.I know it's not under the best circumstances,hell,it's probably the worst because I am taking her somewhere to kill someone.I wish I didn't have to do that.I want to protect her and make sure she is okay.
"Hey when do you think we can stop?I just really need to use the bathroom."
"Can you wait like twenty more minutes?I will also take your blindfold off."
"Okay."
"By the way....I know what it's like to lose someone to suicide.I-I lost my little sister to it.Nobody knew she was depressed.She would always smile and be happy.I wish I could have seen it.I wish I talked to her about how she truly felt.....One day,me and my mom came home from shopping and we found her in her closet.She hung herself....I can never unsee it.It haunts me every night...."
"I am sorry....Sometimes,the happiest people are the ones that are hurting inside the most.They hide their pain until they can't anymore....Aiden was the same way.I couldn't tell when he was feeling depressed because he would always be happy and make me laugh,no matter what he was going through.He seemed to love life....When I heard about it the next morning,I went into complete shock.I went crazy....."
