What do we do
When we are alone
When no one listens
No one cares
Do we weep?
Trying to find comfort in a mirrored twin
An image reflected in our mirrors
The lake which our own tears gave life to?
Or do we scream
Hoping for whoever hurt us
To stop their duties and hear us cry?
Drop everything and come to us
Like a moth to the flame
And then what? Do we consume them?
How unrealistic
Weeping dries our eyes red
And screaming just makes our voices hoarse
No one listens
No one cares
And a mirror is just a mirror
There's power in solitude
And weakness in it too
But the same goes for company
After all humans are social animals
Yet we always end up alone
