Confession of a sinner

The Fall:
They're wrong about so many things
And the first is
I didn't fall
They never casted me out
I walked out of their ivory halls
And jumped off that cliff
Because I'd rather be damned
Than wear a crown of lies

The fight:
She hates war
But never backs down from a fight
Blood fascinates her
But at a price she won't pay
She looks at the fire
Like it's her everything
And she's too in love
To care about the burns
When the rain starts
They leave the battlefield
And she stands among the fallen
Letting the water wash away her sins
She loves to dance under the rain
But she has a battle to win
And so she dances with her sword
Only one will see the sky clear
Death is her companion
The only one that lasts
But life goes on
And so does she

The Redemption:
She didn't think she'd get to this
Not now nor ever
But here she is
Fallen captured broken
Or maybe not
Maybe what happened is freedom
The capture is not something she talks easily about
It's blood it's danger it's suffering
But most of all it's absolution
Nothing felt so light as letting herself be captured by this love
Love for the earth, the humans
A human
But it wouldn't be this story without tragedy
She almost died on the battlefield
Almost ceased to exist for her
For this fallen angel
Blood tears streaming down their faces
And then
Forgiveness
Love
Peace
Heaven on Earth
