New emotions

The calls of parrots were ringing throughout the corridor. Many aristocratic children were standing there at a loss. It was indeed a chaotic situation. The two parrots were colored with colorful paint so much that their original color could no longer be seen and had something in their claws. The students do recognise it, but that makes it even more terrifying. It was a notebook. From the open pages one can see the handsome handwriting on the pages which were now wet with paint from the bodies of the parrot. Ironically the owner of the book was announced from the parrots mouth.

“Ette~ Ette~ Colors~” A very rippling sound was made by the parrots. The tone of the parrots was so weird that it made the surrounding people's hands itchy, wanting to hit something. The notebook was concluded to be the gentle beauty Joette's.

A girl with raven hair and dark black pupils ran over with a troubled but still gentle expression. She stood much smaller amongst the girls surrounding her. Looking at her, all the students were immediately soothed. This girl had a magic that made others relaxed, giving an oddly high sense of security and her gentle look made her temperament special enough to make up for her height. She listened to the parrots speechlessly already having the idea of the identity of the culprit.

She sighed and appeased the surrounding children who were either worried or curious, “I will pick these up. I'm not sure the Zoological department let them slip. They may be anxious.”

Everyone watched as she decisively subdued the two parrots. Even with the smile on her face, her actions caused goosebumps on their arms like the parrots’ neck would directly be twisted under those weak looking fingers. But soon their attention was diverted when she questioned, “Who was the first one to see them? Did you see who made them so dirty?”

A girl with hazelnut eyes and brown hair stripped forwards, “Monitor, I saw them first… no they were actually on the roof, I broke my shoes causing me to slip then these two were in front of me unexplainably.” She looked confused and aggrieved.

“Lisa, your shoes look fine. They are not broken. The shoes of this brand are just made too smooth . I remember it was written on the label- ‘Walk like gliding’ These are actually a novel attempt to add fun to the shoes but not suitable for daily wear. Try not to glide and walk like stomping. It would be better to change the shoes.”

Lisa was a little surprised and then smiled shyly, “Thank you monitor.”

The children approached Joette expressing their concern, asking if she needed help or simply greeting her. She replied gently and exchanged contact information with the children. The corridor was briefly filled with chatter and occasionally the voice of the parrots which would shut up halfway through like being choked.

A few minutes later, Joette walked out as the crowd dispersed. The girls whispered to each other.

“Monitor is so nice. I will be refreshed all over staying with her.”

“Yeah right, even her pace looks gentle and noble.”

“My mom also praised her for her excellent manners.”

The whispers also faded away. There were only occasional sounds of footsteps left. Just as she turned a corner she saw in full glory a person clean and handsome blocking her way.

“You did it. You succeeded in destroying the whole thing.” Joette had a helpless expression on her face.

Aaron's red eyes were filled with a victorious smile, “of course!”

Joette smiled, “It's just a pity…”

Aaron's smile froze, “Umm??”

Joette clapped her hands and pulled out a few pages from her skirt, “I have a backup.” She was holding pages with the same handsome handwriting on the notebook just absent of any paint present on the notebook. “What are you going to do now Sir?”

Aaron was startled but quickly used his practiced hands to snatch the papers. On normal days Joette would definitely not lose, but the thing is she has two parrots on her shoulders. And these parrots indeed recognise who their owner is…

The parrots successfully snatched the papers, tearing them to pieces. These received worse treatment than the notebook.

Aaron stood up and adjusted his tie, “You lose~” It was self-evident where the parrots’ learned the goosebumps arousing tone from.

Joette also smoothened the non existent wrinkles in her skirt and touched her finance's head, “Dear, This paper was to show you that I have copies so of course I have prepared multiple of them. Even if you destroy them I still have the whole thing memorized, even if I forget the speech. Am I such a person in your heart who can't even speak without a prepared speech? Huh?”

Aaron hummed while enjoying the head-pats. He squinted his eyes for a few seconds before his red eyes glowed a faint glow.

The enemy is getting more and more skilled. Does she want me to be inseparable from her hand by making me so comfortable? Changing the topic?

He answered, “You just can't go there. It's bad there.”

The human I last tricked is going to be there. That's a weird human being blaming me for her failure… I just incited her to become financially independent but so what? Decision to bet the whole family's property was her own. She herself is stupid. Only I should bully Ette, not that failure.

Joette put away her smile but her every gesture was full of gentleness looking comfortable, “Are you worried about me?”

Aaron’s heart skipped a beat and he reacted like a cat whose tail was stepped on, “I'm not worried about you!”

How can the noble me be worried!! What nonsense is this outsider talking about?

Joette was confused. Did I say something wrong?

To Aaron the emotion of worry was foreign. It was the emotion of the weak people who have low control over themselves. He has met many people and played with their emotions. He likes chaos and he's the best among his peers. He remembered the teaching every one of his kin received.

“Children, worry is the first emotion warning the path to demise. It directly indicates the fragility and low control over yourself and the overall situation. Once you feel worried your end will be worse than your prey. Chaos requires no shackles.”

“Hey, I met that person when I went to the human realm! Teacher was right! He was caught by the church because he was worried about a human. That human actively cooperated with the church.”

“I remember the other one who didn't want his new clothes to be damaged leading to a lost fight. What an idiot.”

“Aaron is indeed the best. He doesn't have any attachment with any living and non living thing! The enemy was coming for his pants, he didn't even frown! He's my idol!”

Aaron's eyes turned redder as he remembered the past. He's a newborn but a genius. To create chaos not only creativity but freedom is needed. He already has the shackles on his powers, he doesn't need any more of them in his heart. He activated his powers to see what this outsider is planning! This must be a conspiracy!

Hey, this look… sure enough he's handsome, he can even pull on such a gloomy face without a sense of disobedience or ugliness. Looks really good!

Aaron just felt his face getting hot. It's not the first time he's being praised but…

Gloomy face, red ears… This look makes me want to fight him for a few rounds. Why does he look so fightable!

If the previous praise made Aaron's ears red then this sentence directly made him feel fidgety. He averted his gaze, not daring to meet Joette's reddish eyes that symbolised disturbed emotions. He felt his face was about to burn.

“G-g-go! I! not! worry!” He fled the scene not forgetting to take the parrots’ away , making them scream loudly. His powers were still working and what he heard next almost made him stumble, wishing to open his wings to fly.

I really want to fight him as expected of my marriage target. (System: Host that's not how relationships work QAQ)

Aaron ran farther away, taking back his powers cursing in his heart. SHAMELESS!
