Somi and Chaeyoung led me down the halls of the YG building back toward the party, each one holding onto one of my arms. My chest and neck still felt damp from Chae's squirt. "Hmm. Now that you mention it, I haven't seen her," Chae confirmed. "That's a shame."
"Who?" I asked.
Somi gave me a wink, "I think it'll be more fun to surprise you. I know she'll be at the next one. I'll make sure you get an invitation; you won't have to pass a test next time."
"How often do these thi—" I started to say, but was cut off by someone opening the door into the ballroom and letting out the booming music. It was Somi's song, Fxxked Up, which sent the two girls into a flurry of excitement.
"OH MY GOD, I LOVE THIS ONE!" Chaeyoung yelled.
Somi squealed her agreement and the two girls started dragging me toward the door even faster.
"Come on, y/n, let's dance!" Somi shouted.
I stopped them just shy of the door. They turned to me, confused. The music was so loud at that point that I had to use my hands to communicate. I motioned a no with my hand and mouthed the word bathroom. The girls both gave me understanding smiles and Somi pointed down one of the side halls and motioned to the left. Then she gestured between Chae and herself and mouthed the words find us after. I nodded and the pair left me in the hall to go dance to their favorite song.
