Crystal Johnson's POV

I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock going off. I blinked a few times until I finally woke up. I quickly ran to my bathroom and did my daily morning routine for school. School, Oh how I hate that dreadful place sometimes. Don't get me wrong. There are some good days at school. But other than that I like it just for my friends.

A knock suddenly interrupted my thoughts.

"Hey Crys you awake?" My older brother Andrew asked.

"Yah Andrew what's up." I said while opening the door for him.

"Well I just wanted to say, that I'm going to apply for a new job today. I probably will be home late today." He said while fixing his tie in front of my mirror.

"Well alright. Is that all."

"I made food for later and left it in the fridge." He said finally looking at me.

"Well okay, good luck on your job application." I said smiling half heartedly.

"Thank you, be good at school, don't get into any fights and love you little sister." He said kissing my for head.

"Love you to big brother." He finally left my room, and I heard him opening the front door and talking to someone.

It has always been my brother and I ever since my parents died from a drunk driver. They died on their freaking anniversary. I miss them so much, but I guess they had to go some day. They just went to soon.

I put my socks on then grabbed my Adidas to match my outfit. I checked myself one more time in my mirror then I headed to my door. Just before I grabbed my door Macy barged into my room.

"I've been out here for like hours. How long does it takes for you to get ready for school. Like damn!" She talked on and on about.

"Well good morning to you to." I said smirking.

She just rolled her eyes and we headed for downstairs. I grabbed my book bag, armed the house system, and we were out.

The ride to school was silent, until Macy started singing The Night Is Still Young by Nicki Minaj.

After we finally arrived at the school there was already some type of scene. As Macy and I got closer, we saw that the people causing the scene was none other than Louis Blake and Aubry Hernández.

"You can't break up with me, do you know who I am." She yelled at him. He didn't seem like he really cared.

While Louis was getting ready to leave, for some reason he looked at me. We locked eyes for a couple of seconds until I finally looked away. I walked to my locker trying to get as far as I can from Louis. I don't want the memories to keep rolling back.

"Woah that was some intense staring." Macy finally said.

"Yeah I know, I don't know why he looked at me in the first place." I said getting my books from my locker.

"Maybe he still likes you." She said playing with her fingers.

I slammed my locker then looked at Macy. "If he liked me, he would've never done what he did to me. That was wrong, and every time I think about it. It hurts even more. So can we please just drop this." I said with a hint of annoyance.

"Fine, I'm sorry for bringing it up." She said hugging me.

"Its ok, now let's get to class before we're late." I said patting her back. The final bell rung, and we got to class just in time.

The class went on with Ms. Pealy blabbering on about something. I thought she would never stop talking, until I heard the bell ring. I quickly grabbed my stuff than ran out the classroom. I was literally the first one out. Macy and I don't have the next three classes together. It really sucks, because she is the only person I really talk to.

I was about to make my turn until I bumped into a tall muscular figure. It's like the thing or someone I bumped into was made of stone. I finally looked up, rubbing my head and saw the someone I had bumped into.

"Sorry I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking." I said still rubbing my head.
