"On-jo, I don't believe she is dead. How many times do I have to tell you?" Su-Hyeok asked, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration.
"I know, grief is hard. But it's been too long for her to be alive. She would be here by now." The girl tried to comfort her friend.
They had arrived at the safe camp almost 8 months ago now, and Su-Hyeok still refused to admit that Y/n, his girlfriend, was dead.
What happened was hard for him to comprehend, it was hard for everyone.
"That's it, i'm asking again." He grunted, standing up and leaving the small group that sat around in the tent.
"Su-Hyeok!" Dae-su called after him.
Everyone had lost people during the hard time they went through. It was going to be hard to accept it. How could any of them even get over it?
"Leave him." Ha-ri ordered.
Su-Hyeok made his way to the service desk, who were sick of looking at him at that point.
"Ah, hey Mr. Lee. Same inquiry?" The kind woman asked, to which he replied with a small nod.
The woman typed something into the computer, the same as every other day, 'L/n Y/n'. It was just a cycle at this point. She would type it, nothing would come up, Su-Hyeok would walk away upset and in disbelief, then it would repeat the next day.
Then, something broke the cycle.
The woman gasped.
Su-Hyeok's eyes jumped from the ground. "What?! Is there something there?!" He asked, already on the verge of tears at just the thought of a possibility that his girlfriend was found.
"Come round here." She beckoned him around the desk.
Su-Hyeok didn't waste a second, running around the desk and standing behind the woman, staring at the computer.
