Four reached for the door handle, only for it to be opened from the other side. He froze, eyes moving up to meet X's. An awkward silence falls over them as Four glanced between Two and X. "Oh." Fours voice was quiet, he was horrified.

Four never had a plan for what to do if X found out about Two. He panicked, quickly moving forward, X and Two moving away. "Okay, just- let me explain-" Four began, closing the door behind him and leaning against it to keep X and Two from leaving.

"There's nothing to explain, you sick freak!" X jabbed a finger at Four's chest. Four gulped, not used to this harsh tone from X. He glanced at Two, who just stared back, a mix of guilt and fear on their face. "X, please-" Four tried again, but X wasn't hearing it.

"You think you can just- throw someone in the basement and- and keep them there, and torture them? And think there's a good excuse for it!?" X glared at Four. "It's not that bad, really-" "I can see their bones, Four! What kind of mental illness do you have to think it's 'not that bad'!? Why would you do that!?" His eyes teared up, demanding answers from Four as Two silently listened.

Four stammered for a moment, trying to figure out his words. "I- i- he- i mean they- They showed up out of nowhere! And they took everything from me! They were taking you from me!" X froze. "Take me from you!? Four, i was never going to leave you, i can't replace you! But you cant just do something so inhumane to one of my closest friends and expect me to want to stay!" X pulled Two closer to further drive in his point.

Four felt powerless, unable to make X want to stay. He wanted to break down, but he knew he got himself into this mess. Four hesitantly stepped out of the way, knowing that even if he did make X stay, it wouldn't be the same. X pushed past him, glaring at him as he led Two out carefully, not even sure where they were gonna go.

Four watched them get into the car and drive off, he felt empty, ashamed, regretful. He didn't know why he expected X to never find out, why he expected Two to never fight back, and he didn't know why he expected X to stay.. It should have been no surprise this would happen.

He closed the door, glancing back at the now empty home. He glanced at the file on the floor next to the fallen lock. He stared at the pictures on the wall, slowly walked down the halls, regretting everything. It was always such a pretty house to him..

Four sighed, leaning against the wall. He felt horrible. But he knew he deserved this, if not worse..

It was only a matter of time.
