"We really have fi move?" I asked my mom for the 3rd time since morning.

"Yes. It's a new year and we need a new change. Change is good for the mind."

"So you and daddy couldn't wait till mi graduate?" I asked

"Sky nothing nuh wrong if yuh move school during the year." She replied to my question.

My dad then walked into the kitchen hugging my mom and then kissing me on my forehead.

"Finish pack yet sky?" He asked as he took a bottle of water from the fridge.

"Almost"

"Mek sure yuh finish by tonight cause we a leave early a morning"

"Ok"

"Mammy mi a go up a mi room now. Call mi when yuh finish cook"

"Alright baby"

After about 30 minutes of packing up the rest of my things I was finally finished.

Today drained me!

Deciding to go on my phone. I unlocked it and opened Instagram.

"Sky!" My mom shouted from the kitchen downstairs.

"Coming!" I said loud enough so she could hear.

I went downstairs ans help her set the tabel and we had dinner.

I washed the dishes and went back to my room.

I had a shower, brushed my teeth and did my skincare.

Putting on my pj's I went under the covers.

Taking up the tv remote I try to find a movie to watch. I decided on watching 'Good girls' for the 5th time.

Rio is just bae tho...

Soon after I fell asleep.

Rubbing my eyes I try to adjust to the lightings.

Rass! Nuh today we a lef.

Fucka yuh, Hope dem leff yuh😂. Subby laughed at me.

I get out the covers and looked around my room.

Taking up my phone from the night stand and unplugging it, I turned it on checking the time.

8:50 already.

I get uo an dwent to the bathroom washing my face and brushing my teeth.

Heading downstairs I see my parents seated around the kitchen counter eating breakfast.

"Dem could'n wake yuh?"

Dat mah seh to.

"Oh yuh finally wake" my mom said causing my dad to look around

"Good morning" I said they both answered.

"Yuh food Ina the microwave"

I walked to the microwave opening it seeing a plate with fried ripe plantain and bacon.

"Thanks mommy" I said before going into the fridge taking up the last orange minute-made.

I went inside the living room to see my mother standing while looking around the empty house that was once filled with figurines.

"Were leaving behind a lot of history right here." She said before I saw her eyes getting watery.

"A really bawl di lady a bawl?"

Subby now is not the time. Chro mn.

Oh my bad.

"Well your the one who said it, change is good for the soul"

She smiled.

We then walked out the house behind us.

Getting in the backseat as my mom went in the passenger seat and my dad went in the driver's seat of my dad's G wagon.

Well. Let the journey begin.
