After our long drive to we finally arrived at our new home.

Driving up to the gates I saw a man come out of the security post and open them.

We were now driving in the drive way.

The car then stopped and we got out.

I stood infront of the huge house just admiring the beauty of it.

It was a 2 storey house that was painted white. It had colourful flowers at the front of the yard.

So this is where we will be living, nice.

My mother went to open the the front door while my father and I took the things form the trunk of the car.

Struggling with my suitcases and bag I made it.

It had a modern look to it which I liked.

My father then proceeded to give us a tour of the house.

I learnt that it had 5bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, kitchen, dinning room and living room along with a patio and pool at the back.

I was now getting settled in my new room, I begin to unpack my first suitcase and begin to put my clothes in my drawer annd in the walk in closet.

"Big new years eve and yaah packip clothes"

Wah yuh want mi do?

Picking up my phone I checked the time.

It was 5:30pm.

Taking up my speaker from my dresser connected it to my phone and started playing 'gogo by Rajahwild' before heading to the bathroom to shower.

After my 35 minute shower I got dressed in my everyday clothes and put my hiar in a loose bun.

I took a pick for my Instagram.

After about a good 15 minute of just scrolling through TikTok, I went downstairs to check if my mom was cooking.

I went downstairs to see her siting on the couch watching a movie.

"Mommy yuh nah cook dinner?"

"Mi sure mi neva raise nuh handicap, suh if yuh hungry gwan guh mek sumn eat" she said before going back to watching her movie.

"Why yuh guh torment di oman fa?"

Is a simple question mi ask her ino.

I contemplated whether to actually cook something or just order.

"It is because your lazy"

Going with the easier uption I ordered 2 box of pizza one peperoni and one chicken.

The food came and I ate my share and went back to my room.

I go on Instagram just scrolling through reels and watching stories.

Bwoy mi life boring yf.

"And who's fault is that?... Exactly."

Feeling bored I decided to do the next best thing... Which was too take a nap.

Just hope mi nuh wake up after 12 cause nah miss new years yuh mad.

Shortly after I fell asleep.

Waking up I picked up my phone seeing it was 11:11.

Feeling kinda hungry I went to the kitchen for the rest of my pizza.

Picking up the last 2 slices I put them on a plate putting it in the microwave.

Before the timer could run off I open the microwave taking out the plate.

"Likkle impatient pussyole yuh"

Going into the fridge I take out a cold splash.

Securing my food I made my way back upstairs back to my room.

"At the age of 17 look at you ona day like this. Yuh supposed to outside a live yuh maddest life" Subby argued

Well yuh supposed to feel good, because some kids my age or not like me and they have done alot of things I haven't even thought of doing...

"Yuh have a point"

Why me a talk to miself doe God?

It is finally 12am.

Well...New year same bloodclaaat mi!

"Tell dem again girl"

I brushed my teeth and went to bed.
