authors note.
🔱 okay so. i'm back again with a ocean calling rewrite. i've just started the last book in the series and i've been thinking of rewriting/changing my plot since i read the third book which was only like a week ago but it's been consuming me. these are the changes:
1) marie is the daughter of morpheus.
2) isaac isn't introduced straight away. marie doesn't meet him until later in act one.
3) luke and marie are well... we will see.
🔱 this fic will follow the tv series (with some things included from the books). i think it's easier to follow especially since i'm dyslexic — there was a paragraph while percy fought ares that i had to read about six times. my brain could not process it.
🔱 marie is very much the older sister of the group, throwing herself in front of danger to protect them, comforting them when needed but also the putting them straight when they occasionally mess up. i just love her relationship with the trio... and tyson. they'll be so cute.
🔱 and finally, marie and isaac are soulmates (they just don't know it yet). do i believe in soulmates myself? not really but i think it works so well with this fic and with marisaac
