The bleached blonde haired girl stayed silent with her airpods in.  Ivy, by Frank Ocean played at the perfect volume, calming down her nerves for the upcoming summer.

"Girls, look outside. How beautiful is that?" Her mom pointed through the window and out to the blue ocean.
Her parents were overly excited about their new home, their new beginning.

Aria looked over her shoulder toward her sister, who was deep into her book, The Summer I Turned Pretty.

The family drove past a blue sign that read: Outer Banks, paradise on earth.

-

They eventually drove up the long driveway leading to the beautiful beach house. The home was white with gorgeous landscape planted around it.

Aria stepped out of the black SUV, looking up at the mansion. She tied her hair back into a low bun as she grabbed her pink suitcases out from the trunk.

"I can't believe we moved to this junky island." Mia scoffed, stepping up the stairs leading to the front door. "Get over yourself, It doesn't seem too bad." The blonde sister responds as they enter the home.

Aria sprints up the long stairs of the house in attempt to claim her room before Mia. She slams the door behind her as she turns around and admires the room she picked out.

It had a large window with white shudders along it, with a view out to the marsh. Aria smiled out at the ocean dreaming of all kinds of memories to be made there.

She even wanted to learn how to surf, even though she had grown up longboarding.

-

The girl spent all afternoon setting up her room to perfection, she was going for the 'coconut girl' look because she saw it on Pinterest.

It was around 10pm when her sister barged into her room.

"Cute room." Mia sits on the side of her bed.
"Thanks."
"Did you know that Mom signed us up for a job interview tomorrow? It's at this restaurant called The Wreck."
"What? We just got here!" Aria crosses her arms.
"Yeah, but apparently their desperate for employees right now and I mean, we're desperate for a job."

Aria laughs because she knew she was right. Their parents made a new rule that they had to pay for their own gas money, so they really were desperate.

"See you tomorrow, Aria." Mia says, leaving her room. "Night." She smiles.

———

Warm morning sun rested on the gorgeous girl's face, waking her up from her deep slumber. She stretched her arms out and did her usual routine of cracking her knuckles.

Aria sat up on her bed looking at the outfit picked out, reminding her of the dreadful interview soon. She groaned and got up for the day.

The sisters discussed their persuasive plan for their interview as they brushed their teeth and got ready for the day.

Aria brushed through her matted morning hair, and curled her eyelashes. However, Mia cared much more about her appearance. She did a full face of makeup and curled her hair.

"I can't wait to see all of the guys here, their all going to be hot surfers." Mia giggles. Aria smirked in response and left the bathroom.

-

"Let's go, the car is running!" Aria yells from their white Jeep Wrangler. Mia hopped in the passenger seat and they drove off to the restaurant.

The twin sisters jammed out to Pink Friday Girls - by Nicki Manaj with the windows down. At stop lights, they got dirty looks but they both could care less.

They arrived at The Wreck and the nerves started to kick in. "It's go time!" Mia says, nudging her sister's shoulder.

As soon as they walk in, they notice how crowded the place is. Aria gulps as her sister introduces herself to the owner of the restaurant.

-

The two girls exited the back door after their interview. They looked at each other and paused to take a moment to squeal, knowing they both got the job.

"You guys got the job?" An unknown girl asks. She definitely worked there, looked around their age, and had brown curly hair.

"Yeah, do you work here too? What's your name?" Aria asks politely.
"Yes and I'm Kiara, my parents own this place." She says patting her hand on a countertop. "What are both of your names?"

"I'm Mia and this is my twin sister, Aria." We both smile.
"Nice to meet you two, but we should get working before my Dad yells at us." We all laugh and split off to get to work.

Aria begins by wiping down the bar countertop and moving empty glasses from previous costumers. She walks behind the bar and starts to rinse out the old glasses.

She looks up as a group of teenage boys around Aria's age walk in laughing and taking off their sunglasses. The boys approach her and take seats at the bar.

"Could you make me a Vodka soda please?" The first guy asks. He was a dark blonde with a fresh buzz cut, and blue eyes.

"And for you two?" I ask the guys next to him.
"We'll take two piña coladas." The dark skin says.
I nod and begin making their drinks.

"You know, I haven't seen you around. What's your name darling?" The buzz cut boy asks.

"It's Aria." I say shortly, annoyed with the nickname.
"That's a beautiful name, I haven't heard that before." Another guy adds, smirking at me.

This is gonna be a long night.
