Alice drags me towards the bathroom.
"Why'd you do that?" I ask her.
"Because he has a girlfriend." She says, obviously very mad.
"Yeah, but I could be his next girlfriend!"
"When he's single. You can."
"Fine, whatever. Are we still on for a Netflix spree tonight?"
"Of course."
We walk out of the bathroom. Gong straight back to our table.
THAT NIGHT/ BRANDON'S POV
"Dude I have to break up with Clarissa." I say looking at my phone.
"Why?" Caleb asks me.
"That's the only way Lucille will go out with me." I say kinda sad.
"She's not popular though, she'll bring down your ranking as the coolest guy in school down."
"Or maybe I can make her popular."
"Yeah right, good luck with that man."
"Wanna bet? thirty bucks says she'll win homecoming queen."
"You're on, now come on. These virtual guns cant shoot themselves."
"Okay, Call backup. I'm gonna go talk to Clarissa."
"Your death bro."
I walk out of my room and into the hallway getting my phone out of my pocket. I go to recent texts and hers is the second one down. I press on the name and start typing up a text.

It takes a couple of minutes for her to reply but she does
Fine by me, Bye Loser
I sigh and feel relief after doing that.
