LAST NIGHT, ALICE'S POV

 I got a call on my phone, it was an unknown number.

"Hello?"

"Hey Alice, its um, Brandon."

"As If!"

"It is I promise."

"mm hm yeah sure."

"Ugh fine whatever, look I just called to get your permission to ask Lucille out, and before you go off on me I broke up with Clarissa."

"This really is Brandon isn't it?" I asked starting to realize it sounded like him.

"That's what I've been trying to tell you!"

"Okay fine, yes you can ask her out, but I cant promise she'll say yes."

"Thank you Alice, I'll pay you back, I promise." He sounded really happy, maybe he really did like her.

"Yeah sure, whatever." I hung up the phone. Wait, how did he get my number. Whatever, I'll figure it out tomorrow. I looked at, my clock, I definetly was going to be late to school.

Lucille's POV

I walk into to school the next day and everyone is staring at me. I start feeling nervous walking down the hallway. I look up and see Brandon standing at my locker.

"Hey, Lucille."

"Um, Hey Brandon."

"So, I broke up with Clarissa."

"Oh, Okay." I'm not sure how to react to this, should I be happy or sad or what?

"So I was wondering if you wanted to see a movie?"

"Um, I have to go." I walk off feeling everyones eyes on me. Where is Alice when you need her.

I run down the hallway and run straight into the bathroom.

"Hey! Um," She looks at me and notices something is wrong, this is why we are best friends. "Bathroom Now."

I just nod and walk with her as she drags my arm behind her.

"This is because of Cake isn't it?"

I nod again. How did she know?

"Did he ask you out?"

I nodded, how did she know?

"Please tell me you said yes."

I shake my head, "I didn't answer."

"What? Why?" She seems really mad I didn't answer. Wasn't she mad when I was about to say yes. This girl is definitely some what bi polar.

"I thought you would be mad."

"Nope, you should say yes though. It would be adorable, and you would have to help me with Py."
