This takes place in the near end of high school, sonic is 18 going on 19 while shadow is 19 years old, they're both going to be graduating soon!

Sonic was sitting in his history class watching some documentary about wars and such, but he wasn't paying much attention to it cause he had his mind elsewhere. He couldn't stop thinking about how much time passed by, chaos it only felt like yesterday when he was just a freshman and met so many good people as time went by, well, he also met some bad people, one of them being his bully ever since sophomore year. Shadow was his name, he was a pretty intimidating character, he was quiet and mysterious, he was also pretty popular as well, all the chicks digged him, of course out of all the people he would pick on, it was him, Sonic, an 18 year old pretty awkward blue hedgehog that spaces out alot and the only thing he's good at is gym, he was the most athletic guy in the entire school next to shadow on the board. Shadow didn't much care if sonic was getting the glory, what he does alot is bring him and his friends down, calling him "faker" or "blue freak", sometimes he would go a lil overboard and call him a "f@ggøt" sometimes. Sonic was a openly bisexual guy in his school, and shadow just loves to rub all kinds of shit is his face. He would shove him every time he walks pass him through the halls, he would elbow him on the head, sometimes trips him over, always fucking humiliating him im front of so many people, one time shadow had done him so dirty in the lunch room by spilling an entire bowl full of spaghetti all over sonics head, tails and his friends would go off on him for doing that, knuckles had to hold back amy so that she wouldn't get herself in trouble for sonic.
Shadow would always simply say, "whoops, i didn't see him there hehe". He would say with that snarky grin. Sonic ran into the bathroom trying hard to not have a breakdown in front of the whole lunchroom, he would change out of his clothes and switch them out with his gym clothes and would eat his lunch outside, tails and the other's would join him so he wouldn't have to be alone, he was so thankful to have friends like them. Sonic kinda snapped back into reality as he felt nudges on his arm, he glanced over to see tails looking at him with some slight concern.
"Are you ok sonic? You've been blanked out for like 20 minutes, what's on your mind?" he said with his Eyebrows down in a concerned manner. "Oh! No I'm fine tails!" he whispers back. "I just been, well you know, thinking about how soon we're graduating. I mean it's crazy to me and it's such a big step for us..." he said with a sigh. Tails smiled at him. "Oh yeah, i totally get that! I'm just excited we're all gonna be graduating together!" tails said as he kinda hopped up and down in his seat. Sonic couldn't help but chuckle at that. "He's so silly". Sonic thought to himself.
After class, sonic said his goodbye's to tails as he started walking down the hallway. It took him about a few minutes to make his way into the gym room, he made his way into the locker rooms and switched his clothes out for his gym ones. Since he was the first one in while everyone else was taking their sweet time he went out to the gym room and sat down in the corner while he waited for the others to finish. The second to Finish was shadow, sonic noticed him entering the room and stood in the other side of the corner, crossing his arms and looking to the side. Oh god... Sonic hates himself for this and i mean REALLY hates himself for it, but he's always had a crazy crush on shadow for awhile, like ever since the beginning of sophomore year. Sonic knows he's a dick but he couldn't help it, he's so handsome, and his voice, oh wow his voice, it's just something that could make your heart fluffer everytime he talks. He had to look away before Shadow starts to feel like he's being watched, it absolutely irritates him everytime someone just stares at him and saying nothing, it causes him to get angry and to punch the guy who does stare.
Sonic looked down to the ground as he fiddled with his fingers, until he heard someone sit next to him, Sonic's eyes kinda widened as he turns his head to only see shadow sitting there, staring at sonic with those cold, intimidating, beautiful eyes. "Seems like they're taking their sweet times huh freak?" he said with a slight chuckle. "I.. Umm.. Yeah i guess..." sonic said, nervously. Shadow's eyes glanced up and down to sonic. "Is he... Checking me out?" he said with a blush on his face. "You ready for graduation hedgehog?" he said to break the silence. Sonic turned and looked at him. "Yeah.. I guess.." he said as he looked away from him, not wanting to make anymore eye contact. Eh can't blame him, shadow doesn't like much eye contact either, but his stares are so intense it was making sonic nervous, or scared, maybe something else. Shadow couldn't help but take notice of this, he smirked and leaned himself over to sonics ear and whispered, "does my presence frighten you sonic?~" that sent shivers down sonics spine, his face burning red like a tomato. He took a deep breath, and turned his head and stared into his eyes, that made shadow jerk his head back a little. "No, you don't scare me shadow, actually I'm tired of how childish you are with still bullying me..." shadow was stunned. Sonic got right into his face, "you're fucking 19 years old and is going to be graduating soon, grow the fuck up...faker..." shadows eyes widened, his quills spiked up and his expression turned into fury, as he was about to do the unthinkable the students started walking into the gym room. Sonic quickly got up and ran over to the group of students, shadow just sat there, clenching his fists tightly. "That little blue freak is gonna regret those words..." he thought to himself.
Gym class was pretty easy for sonic, they had to do a couple of laps around the track and of course sonic and shadow were the first one's to finish. After sonic did his final lap and asked the teacher to be excused early. The gym let him go since he basically did his class work, he zoomed off quickly trying his very hardest to avoid shadow af all costs. He went to the locker room and tried to quickly get his lock off his locker so that he could get to his bag, but his hands were shakey and he just wanted to get the hell outa there fast. Finally he was able to get his bag and ran for it. Sonic was safe, for now...
