A blinding light flooded my vision, followed abruptly by a consuming darkness. Disoriented, I jolted myself awake, attempting to unravel the confusion that clouded my senses. I surveyed the room catching sight of stars through the window, I hastily concluded it was still the dead of night. I was then about to sleep again but then doubt crept in—stars shouldn't be so close, shouldn't feel so within arm's reach. Closing in on the glass, the revelation struck me—I wasn't on Earth; I was amidst space floating within some kind of spacecraft or spaceship in this scenario.
A rising sense of panic gripped me as I scanned the room, and it was in that frantic search that my eyes met a mirror. The reflection staring back at me shattered any semblance of normalcy. "That's... Frieza!" I gasped, feeling a chill coursing down my spine. Almost losing my balance, I instinctively moved backwards. The nagging question surfaced: "Was this a dream?" Attempting to confirm the reality, I hesitantly moved my tail, feeling its presence with alarming clarity, the unsettling truth sank in—it wasn't a dream.
A surge of energy coursed through me, an overwhelming power that left me feeling not just energetic, but strangely invincible.
"I get why Frieza is always so confident," I said understandingly
I looked at the mirror once again and questioned how was I on Frieza's body when I should be on my own. On my own? One minute who am I again? No, the better question who was I? I can't remember anything, not my name, not my face, not my family. It's all blank. I collapsed on the ground clutching my face. While the workings of my previous world were etched in my mind, they seemed distant, as if observed from a neutral perspective. It was as if I had no personal opinions, a mere spectator. "But how is that possible?" I questioned, chills coursing through my body.
"Only now can I form opinions on that information. All sorts of Info that I had not formulated any type of feeling upon only now I feel like I can. If not for the knowledge about Frieza being a fictional character and the Dragon Ball Series, I might have believed I was always Frieza and I just had a small amnesia." Still, the haunting echo of the question lingered: who was I before this Bizarre exchange?
No, my past is irrelevant now; what matters is the present. I am Frieza, the emperor of the universe, and my survival is my only mission. To devise my plans, I must first discern which universe—
Before I could complete my thought, a sharp pain surged through my head, forcing me to bow as a barrage of images flashed in my mind. Was this my memory? No, these were Frieza's memories. They overwhelmed me, depicting the journey from Frieza's birth to the ruthless tyrant figure we all know and love. I instinctively clutched my face as the relentless stream of memories continued to flood in.
"Well, that answers my question about the universe. It looks like I'm in Dragon Ball Super, right after Beerus ordered me to destroy Planet Vegeta. And with Cooler in the mix, it seems that this universe is like a blend of non-canon movies and DBS at its base. Quite intriguing," I mumbled to myself after finally recovering from the hoard of memories
'I should stop talking out loud this is the dragon ball verse where Gods from the other world can look at the living world any time they want and look at whomever they please. If there's even a hint of change in my behaviour, it could reach Whis and, ultimately, Beerus. Not a pleasant prospect, especially since Beerus isn't exactly my biggest fan. How troublesome,' I thought to myself
I was worried how I would have fought at all with this body but the memories helped which was weirdly very convenient but now that I have covered I should really learn how to sense Ki without the scouter as that will be very helpful after that I should give planet Vegeta a visit. But before getting down to business, I couldn't resist the urge to test out my newfound powers. After all, I am Lord Frieza, the "mightiest" in the entire universe—I might as well have some fun. A smirk crept onto my face as I contemplated the possibilities.
Interrupting my chain of thoughts, a soldier from outside my chamber spoke, "Lord Frieza, I have a message to deliver."
"Enter."
"Lord Frieza, we have located a very unique planet that may be of your interest."
"And what planet might that be?"
"We have located Planet Yardrat."
Huh?
