Kathryn woke up and yawned, rolling over to see no one other than Jasper. She gasped then remembered last night. They had kissed for a while longer before falling asleep holding each other. Kat smiled to herself before snuggling closer to him, giving his shoulder a small kiss. Then she slipped out of his bed to quietly escape to her room so no one would see her.

Kat hummed to herself as she grabbed a change of clothes and headed to the bathroom. She turned on the hot water and put on some music, swaying slightly while waiting on the water to warm up. Kathryn slipped out of her clothes and stepped into the shower. The hot water instantly relaxed her, causing her to sigh.

After washing up Kathryn headed to Isabel's room. She knocked lightly, waiting on her to answer. Izabel said, "Come in!"

Kathryn opened the door and quickly walked in, quietly shutting it behind her. She flashed a huge smile at the sleepy Izabel who looked at her groggily from the bed. "What're you so smiley about this damn early?" Izabel asked her, slowly stretching.

"So I ended up spending the night in Jaspers room.." Kathryn said, biting her lip. This caused Izabel to immediately shoot up and start rapid firing questions, "So what happened? What led up to this? Did y'all kiss? Did y'all..?" She winked at Kat. Kat softly punched her shoulder and giggled.

"We just kissed and fell asleep together, that's it." Kathryn responded. "Come on Kat! You always give details, stop holding out on me. We're sisters aren't we?" Izabel pleaded with her.

Kat rolled her eyes, "I wish we really were sisters, anyway fine fine because I know you'll pester me about it for the rest of the day. I was going to the kitchen to get some water when I noticed his light was on, so I went to his door and was debating knocking to check on him when he opened it!"

"No way!" Izabel interjected, "What happened next?" She urged Kat to continue. "Well he asked what I was doing and I fumbled for a second but was honest with him. I ended up grabbing a water for him and we were talking when I suggested a movie. He picks a horror movie and tells me I can get under the covers with him. He promised no funny business so I got in the bed with him, not touching, well not yet anyway."

"There's no way y'all just kissed!" Izabel interrupted again. Kathryn giggled, "Well he tried doing the yawn and put my arm over your shoulder thing, so we started cuddling. After the movie finished I looked up at him to ask what we should watch next and he kissed me. We kissed for a good minute and then fell asleep holding each other." Kat finished and smiled.

"Wow. I wish I could find my apocalypse love." Izabel said laughing slightly. "I mean he's got a cute brother." Kathryn said, shooting her a look. Izabel blushed and stared at Kat her mouth agape. "Shut up!" She said, laughing.

Kathryn stood up, "Let's go make some coffee!" Izabel nodded, "I'll go take a quick shower and I'll see you downstairs." Kat smiled at her and walked out the room and down to the kitchen. Her Aunt Katie was already awake and pulling out some coffee.

"I can make that instead if you'd like." Kat offered. Her aunt smiled at her, her wrinkles crinkling upwards. "Sure sweetheart, just make enough for everyone okay?" Kat's aunt replied. Kathryn nodded and got to work making a good pot of joe. Once she finished she made herself a cup, four spoonfuls of sugar and a good bit of milk.

Izabel walked into the kitchen to see Kat pouring another cup of coffee and putting in sugar and milk.  Kathryn turned to her and smiled, holding out the cup to her. Izabel graciously took the cup and blew on it before taking a sip. "You about ready to go deal with the livestock?" Kathryn asked her. "After this cup of coffee.." Izabel lowered her voice, ".. and a joint by the barn." Kat laughed at her and sipped her coffee. "Maybe I should make breakfast first?" Kat suggested. Izabel nodded enthusiastically since she's a big fan of her cooking.

Kat ended up whipping up a hearty breakfast with farm fresh eggs, sausage, French toast, and fresh strawberries. She called everyone to the dining room where she had everything laid out nicely. They enjoyed a nice breakfast then Kathryn spoke up, "Now that we've eaten it's time to get to work. Natalie, how do you feel about feeding the chickens?" Natalie smiled and nodded, "I'm fine with feeding some chickies."

"Alright, Sebastian would you like to feed the horses?" Kat asked. Bastion nodded at her. "I'll wash the horses!" Izabel piped up. "I already knew you were going to say that." Kathryn said, rolling her eyes. "I'll wash the cows, Jasper do you want to feed them?"

Jasper smiled, "Of course!" Kat smiled back at him, "Alright, I'm sure my family doesn't mind handling the rest?" Aunt Katie said, "We're just happy to have help in the first place. We'll take care of the rest, and I'll clean up breakfast." Kathryn thanked her and stood up, stretching.

Izabel went upstairs, beckoning Kat to follow her. Kathryn followed her to her room where Izabel pulled out a familiar old wooden box. She sat on her bed and opened it, pulling out a small tray and a jar. Izabel smiled at Kat as she opened the jar and dumped some of the green contents on the tray. Kathryn giggled, "I'll meet you at the barn, okay?" Izabel nodded, already working on rolling the joint.

Kathryn yawned as she leaned against the side of the old barn. She watched Izabel as she trudged her way through the field, watching her step for cow and horse shit. Izabel finally got close to Kat and she pulled out two beautiful joints. Kathryn smirked and pulled out the infamous Kutreeina, quickly lighting the first joint. She took a big puff before passing it to Izabel, coughing after she exhaled.

After they finished the joint Izabel headed off to the stables and Kat headed off to gather what she needed to wash the cows. She gathered everything she needed from the barn and made her way to where Jasper was feeding the cows. "How's the feeding going?" Kathryn asked. "Well they're eating it up." Jasper replied, turning to beam at her. "I'll wait until they're done eating to wash them." Kat said, smiling back at him. "I'll help you." Jasper said, petting one of the brown fluffy cows.

Suddenly there was a growling coming from the forest a few feet away from them. Kat pulled out her knife, prepared for anything. Jasper froze, then fumbled with his pockets trying to find a weapon. Kathryn moved closer while holding her knife out in front of her. Then a zombie came stumbling out from the brush, it's purple eyes glowing ominously. It growled at Kat before charging at her.

Kat dropped low and swept the zombies legs out from under it. This stunned the zombie and Kat quickly grabbed some nearby rope and quickly tied up the zombie. "What the hell are you doing??" Jasper asked her, confused as all get out. "I have an idea." Kathryn replied, an eerie smile on her face.
