Sage's POV :
We were at the bonfire and just having drinks, or just me at least, everyone was partying and having the time of their lives, while I'm just sitting and watching drinking.
Isaac sat next to me "Are you a loner much?" He asked "No, I just don't want to socialize, there's too much process"
"Or are you just introverted?"
"Why? Are you an extrovert?"
"No, I just have friends to talk to"
"Well, I'd be interested to talk to you" I said "Pleasure's mine"
       "Are you actually not going to have a drink?" He questioned, I showed him my cup that's clearly full "With us?"
       "I'm good" I said, he then nodded, and walked off, he sat by at the trunk with Grace and Skylar, they were having a conversation and laughing. I just didn't know what to do, all I could do was stare at my car.
      So, without a trace, I left my drink, and went inside my car and started it, they were all playing beer pong, and didn't even notice my car.

         I parked my car, and stepped outside, and opened the doors, surely no one was home, I ended up seeing Danny at the kitchen "Sage, you're home"
        "Decided to leave, it was pretty boring"
        "Well, I didn't want to get drunk, and witness hookups"
        I laugh, so did Danny, I then saw Erin walking in the kitchen using her phone "Didn't wanna witness hookups, huh?"
       Erin laughs "Sage, me and Danny are not hooking up, I just called him up because I needed to get out of there, seriously"
         "Oh...I guess was just into assumptions, sorry"
         "It's all good"
         "Say, why'd didn't Danny just take you home?" I ask, both Danny and Erin looked at each other, then Erin looked down "Hey, oh my God, what did I say wrong? What happened?"
"Sage, it isn't so well perfect at my house" She responded, I can't believe what I just said, they just needed to forgot. I ran off to my room, or me and Isaac's shared bedroom, I hug a pillow, regretting what I just said, I'm much of an overthinker.
Erin stepped inside the room, knowing I regretted what I did, she sat on the bed, and sighed "Hey, you did nothing wrong, you don't have to over think it"
"Are you sure?" I ask "Yeah! You didn't know, it's cool"
"Yeah, well, I felt incredibly stupid for asking, well I was stupid thinking my boyfriend was inlove with me"
"What happened? If you don't mind sharing" Erin said, I sigh "So, back in New York, me and Jackie were friends with someone named Sara, and like I had a boyfriend, and basically, I wanted to surprise Jackie, but as I was wanting to surprise her, I spent some last moments at New York, and I went to my favorite arcade and saw my boyfriend with Sara"
"Oh...I'm so sorry"
"That's not it...I was at the airport, and Sara called me, saying she was threatened by him to date her, and I believed it as she sent me screenshots. But she recently went had contact with Jackie...she said that she gaslit me into thinking that he threatened her, apparently they were dating way before we dated, and they just wanted to see what kind of a loser I was, and I guess I am"
"Sage, you're really not a loser"
"But I am, Erin"
"How do you feel like having a walk?" She asked, I then nodded "Sure"

As me and Erin went downstairs, we saw, everyone home, but Isaac isn't there "Where's Isaac?"
"He decided to stay a little bit more longer" Cole replied, Erin sighed and walked out, I then followed her "Sorry, I just needed to avoid Cole" She said "It's good, let's walk now?"
She then nodded, and we walked around town. We stepped inside, and took a seat "Hey, what do you want, I'll order"
"Salted Caramel Latte, make it iced, thanks" Erin said "Food?" I asked "Oh, a Spaghetti with Meatballs, I love those here"
I then smiled and went up to the cashier "Hello, welcome, my name is Hayley, and I will be assisting you today, what may I get you?"
"Umm, one iced biscoff latte, and salted caramel latte, and the carbonara with chicken and spaghetti with meatballs" I ordered "Is that all?"
I nodded "Your total comes to five dollars and eighty-six cents" She said, I then pulled out six dollars and gave it to the cashier, she gave me fourteen cents.
"Hey, you said your name is Hayley, right?"
"Yeah, why?"
"I swear I heard you in our household several times, I'm Sage, do you know the Walter's?"
"Oh, I'm engaged to their oldest child, Will, no wonder why you know who I am"
"It's so nice meeting you" I said then walking back to my place.
