Sage's POV :
        Another week had passed, I was just at my locker, and I kept noticing Nate staring at me, I glared at him, and walked away.
      He was following me, I looked back, and walked even faster, I got to the library, and as I was walking, I bumped into someone. I dropped all my books, I started picking them up.
     "Sage, you ok?" He said, I looked up, oh...it was Isaac "I'm sorry, it's just that Nate...he's following me, and he won't leave me alone"
He grabbed the rest of my stuff that fell to the ground, and placed it on the table, he then reached out his hand for me, I grabbed it and stood up.
I smiled, and took a seat, he sat next to me, he smiled and so did I "What's he even trying to do?"
"I have no idea, but the girl he cheated on me with, chatted me saying that he moved all the way here, to see me"
"What?" He said in such curiosity, I looked at my books then him "I don't know either, I believe they're trying to trap me again, you know, the week before I went to Colorado, I felt like Nate was seeing someone, because, he always goes to practice all the time"
"Practice is his last excuse?"
"Exactly!" I said "Four days before I had to go to Colorado, I saw his notification, that had the contact 'Baby🎀' and I decided to check it, he was seeing someone behind my back, I had no idea it was Sara back then"
"It broke my heart even more when I saw him together with Sara at my favorite arcade" I started tearing up, why am I always like this? I wipe my tears away "Now, I thought I'd be safe in Colorado, so while I was at the airport I called my mom telling her I'll drop out of new york and stay at Colorado, I told her I'd find a job here, yet here I am broke as hell, and getting stalked by my ex"
"It's gonna be alright, say-" He was saying, until my phone was ringing, I took it out, it was...my mom, as I was about to answer, the librarian came up "No phones"
"Sorry, Ma'am she'll go out now, she just transferred here two weeks ago, she has no idea" Isaac covered for me, I damn well knew the rules.

I stepped outside campus, and answered the phone "Mom?" I said "Sweetie, it's Dad" he said in a worrying voice, my eyes widen "Dad, are you ok?"
"I got back home, and saw your mom dead on the floor, she was murdered, stabbed" He explained, I got even more worried "Murdered? Mom?" I said, crying, sobbing so much "I'm sorry, honey, I love you, you're on your own now"
"Dad?" I ask "Dad what you mean?" I ask again in worry "I love you, Sage" he said, I then heard a gun shot through the phone, I flinched "DAD!"
"DAD!" I kept yelling. I hung up the phone and called 911
"9-1-1, what's your emergency?" The police said "Hi, I'm calling from Colorado, I know this isn't New York"
"Oh, you have to call the police department at Colorado then sweetie"
"My mom has been murdered, and my dad just shot himself, they are at New York, at the Brooklyner Apartments, they are at Apartment five-seven-three, please tell me if they'll be ok?"
"Ok don't worry honey, police are on their way, but may I know your full name and age?"
"Sage Valentine, I'm sixteen years old, the victims are Joseph Valentine and Olivia Kelly-Valentine, both are forty-five years old"
"Thanks for that, Sage, police are on their way, so you said you're in Colorado, right, sweetie?"
"Yes, that's right"
"When we get news on your parents, we'll send some to your address what's your address honey?"
"Uhh, they're pretty popular around here, just tell them to go to the Walter's, pretty sure they'll know"
"Walter's, I know them, alright, be safe sweetie"
"Thanks, officer" I said, then hanging up, I breakdown on the floor again, why do bad things keep happening in my life? I'm just a normal teenage girl...why did my life just go upside down out of nowhere...

      "Oh, I'm sorry your parents are gone" A heard a familiar voice, I looked up to see Sara "Sara? Please leave me alone, I'm miserable enough"
     "Sorry, I'm the one making your life a living hell"
     "What do you mean, Sara?" I asked "Oh, please, you didn't give me a consideration, I needed you to bare the consequences"
       Sara murdered my mother...now this is way too far "Sara, you could torture me any kind you want, but murdering my mother?"
       "You have your father don't you?"
       "He shot himself" I said tearing up, I stepped inside the school, to get back to class "Your mother is such a dead queen"
      "Leave me alone, Sara" I said, changing my mind going out of the campus and going home.
