Sage's POV : A week has passed, and it seems like I've been avoiding Isaac, he had no idea what happened that night, and he's just way too confused. I was walking at the hallway, Erin came up to me "Sage, are you avoiding Isaac?" She asked "Listen, I have no idea what to say" "He doesn't know what happened, why are you nervous?" "Still, I just don't know what to do" "Come on, I feel bad for the guy, he doesn't really deserve it" "Fine, I'll talk to him" I said, then walking up to him, as I tapped his shoulder, he then looked at me, as I was about to speak, my phone rang. I had to get out, so I could answer it, anonymous number...huh? Maybe it's important, I just answered "Sage..." "Nate?" I said "Listen, I'm not entraining anything" I said almost hanging up "Listen, don't hang up! Look at your right!" "What?" I said, then looked at my right, it was Nate...why is he in Colorado, I stepped inside immediately, he then followed me and grabbed both of my shoulders "Get away from me, Nate" "Just let me talk" Nate said, Jackie then noticed me, she instantly went up and grabbed me "Let's go" Jackie said, we walked arm-in-arm, and got in class. We sat down, and Jackie gave me that look "Listen, he called me anonymously, and now he's here at Colorado where I thought I'd be safe" I tried not to tear up "Oh, Sage..." Jackie said, giving me a tight embrace.

I was walking with Erin and Jackie all the way out of school, and couldn't help but notice Nate talking to Cole, oh my God, he cannot be seriously talking to him. I walked there angrily "Nate leave us alone, please?" I said "Cole, let's get home" "Hey, I was just having a conversation with him" Cole said "That man is my ex boyfriend, he's just the person who made me absolutely miserable" "Please, Cole, for me? Don't get too close with him, okay?" "Fine, for you" "Thank you, I don't feel like going home anymore, I'll be with Erin and Jackie" I told Cole, I then walked up to them, and before we walked out, Jackie decided to go up to Nate "Nate, listen, you've made her miserable, and you're making her more miserable now, just please get out of her life for once" "You don't get what I'm trying to sa-" "He's not worth it, Jacks" I said, pulling her away, the three of us were walking away "This is how horrible Nate is, Erin" "I don't know...he looks like he really wanted to say something, maybe you should've atleast just let him speak" Erin said "Yeah, but I don't care" I said walking off.

As we stepped in to the cafè, we saw Kiley, I went up to her, and gave her a hug "Oh, wow, I missed you too" "Can we sit down?"
"Wait what do you mean I'm confused? Extremelyconfused" "So, basically, right, Sage had this boyfriend" "Yes, Erin, I hear you" "So, basically he cheated on me with my best friend et cetera, et cetera, and today he showed up trying to speak to me, but I didn't really care" "Oh my God stalker, anyway, heard from Grace and Isaac that you've been avoi-" "We will not speak about that" The three of us said "That you've been avoiding Isaac and he wants to know why" "Kiley, I will not entertain that question" "What even happened? I won't tell anything to him" "Fine, remember bonfire?" I asked, she then nodded "Ok, he came home at 2AM I was wide awake concerned for him, and he showed up at the gate vomiting and on the floor" "Then, I helped him inside, gave him painkillers, water, and made him some food, and he...almost...kissed me. He had no idea what he was doing, so I pulled away, and put him back to bed" "Wait, WHAT?" The three of us 'shh' her "Be quiet about it!" I said "Listen, you just can't keep leading him on forever" "Yeah, I tried to talk to him, but Nate decided to anonymously call me" "Oh..." Kiley said, I then heard a notification from my phone, it was Sara, I rolled my eyes, and still checked because she probably won't shut up.

I got home, and saw Cole and Nate talking together, my face filled with anger, I went up the stairs in rage. I told Cole not to get too close to him, and he's already bringing him to our house...I step inside my room, and breakdown to the floor. Isaac came out and I immediately stood up "Hey, you okay?" "Yeah, it's just that, Cole had the audacity to invite Nate to this house" "Nate? His friend? The one down here?" "Yeah, he's my ex, and he's insane" "That guy is your ex?" Isaac asked, I nodded "The ex who cheated on you with your best friend?" I nodded again "No way" He said "Yes way" I said. I then went closer to Isaac, I took his hands, and looked at him "Listen, I heard from Kiley that you want to know why I'm avoiding you this past week" "I do wanna know why, did I do something wrong? That made you avoid me" "Remember the bonfire? You came home at like 2AM? Yeah, basically, while I was making you food, something happened, and I don't wanna bring it up" "No, say it, it's okay" He said in a soft voice, I was about to open my mouth to speak, until we heard the door open, it was Kiley and Grace, as me and Isaac distanced ourselves they had their faces blank.
