"How are we going to get out of here?" Gregory held his father's paw tighter as they walked.

"... We need some sort of ship. I am looking for some sort of dock." Freddy responded.

"... but what about the others? What about Cassie??"

That made Freddy tense up and stop moving. He knelt down to make eye contact with the boy.

"I don't know if there is anything we can do for them... but I have to get you out of here."

The boy shook his head frantically. "N...no! We can't just leave them here!'

Freddy sighed deeply. "We have no choice, Gregory. I want to save them, too. But we can't!" His voice shook slightly.

They both froze immediately at the sound of a familiar laugh further away. The rabbit woman was back.

Freddy pulled Gregory close and unsheathed his sword.

The boy held Freddy tighter and trembled as the footsteps grew closer.

"Show yourself!" Freddy growled to her. The bunny finally made her presence known.

She approached them from behind and grinned, pulling out her blades. Freddy shoved Gregory away.

"Go hide!" He ordered as she advanced on him. Gregory quickly rushed to the side and hid in a small alleyway as he watched the fight go down.

Freddy was more hesitant to attack her, considering she had helped him earlier. But now, her eyes were red and narrowed again. She wore the same black eye mask she always wore.

After almost a minute of back and forth hitting, she managed to tackle and pin Freddy.

Gregory watched as his dad caught her wrists to keep her from stabbing him with her knife. He had to do something, but he did not know what.

He thought fast and rushed forward, shoving her off. His paws connected with her face, and she fell to the side. The mask she was wearing had come off, too.

She glanced over again in shock, only this time, her eyes were a normal green color again.

Freddy stood up and pointed his sword at her chest to keep her down. But for some reason, he did not hurt her.

The boy looked back and forth between her and his father, dumbfounded. "Dad, why aren't you finishing her?! She's the one who took dad!" He growled.

Freddy stared at her in deep thought. He was hesitant for a few seconds before sighing and lowering his weapon. "... she didn't..."

The boy was even more confused now as Freddy put his weapon away completely.

"... Your father was in the same position as her once. She's being controlled."

"... she deserves a chance. Just like Bonnie did." He stated.

Gregory's ears shot back as he glared at her in disdain. Watching Freddy act like this towards her made the boy enraged. Freddy knelt down and offered his paw out to the terrified woman.

"It's alright. We can help you... you can be free." He reassured.

The woman hesitated a moment longer before carefully taking his paw. He lifted her to her feet again, and she dusted herself off nervously.

"What is your name?" Freddy asked. The woman stared at the ground.

"... Vanessa. My name is Vanessa..."
