Seventh Chapter

After the barbecue we went inside and sat down on the couch to watch a movie. I asked Mia if I had to help cleaning the table but she insisted to do it herself. Brian, being a stubborn he is, helped either way and took all the dirty plates into the kitchen.

The movie was already starting. Me and Dom we're on the small couch, Leon, Letty and Jesse where sitting on the ground with some pillows while Vince sat on a comfy chair.

Dom had his arm wrapped around my shoulder as I put my head on his chest. After a few minutes Leon and Letty started to complain about not having popcorn. Vince was the first to break so he went into the kitchen to make some popcorn.

A few minutes later Vince stormed angrily out of the kitchen and stepped over Leon's feet that where spread out over the ground.

"You can make your own damn popcorn." Vince said angrily as he stormed to the front door.

"Come on man." Letty said disappointed as he yet again walked away angrily.

I tilt my head up to look at Dom a little worried. "You think he's gonna be alright?" I asked him in a whisper, making sure to not disturb the movie.

"I guess. It's Vince. He gets angry fast." Dom whispered back at me with a shrug.

"Alright." I said quietly and put my head back on his chest.

In the middle of the movie I started getting tired. I snuggled closer to Dom who wrapped his arm protectively around me. Soon my eyes closed and I drifted off to sleep in Dom's strong save arms.

(Next day)

I groaned a bit as I was woken up by something moving behind me. I slowly opened my eyes and squinted as the sunlight shined through the window, blinding me. I looked around a bit and noticed that I was laying under some covers. I also noticed that I was in Dom's room. I quickly looked under the covers and was glad when I saw that it as still in my clothes from yesterday.

I looked behind me and saw Dom sitting there with his exposed muscular back turned to me, as he was sitting on the edge of the bed. I moved quietly and sat up behind him, I slowly wrapped my arms around his shoulder and put my chin on his shoulder.

"You alright?" I asked sleepily.

"Mhh?" He hummed as I pulled him out of his thought.

"I asked if you are alright?" I asked again in a soft tone. His hands softly caressed my forearms that where wrapped over his shoulders.

"Yeah, I'm alright. Sorry to wake you up." He said softly as he turned his head to look at me.

"It's alright. Thank you for putting me in bed yesterday. I wasn't really planning on falling asleep through out the movie." I said with a smile.

"It's okay." He chuckled and turned his body around. He wrapped his strong arms around my waist and made me lay down on the bed. He puts his head on my chest and let's out a sigh.

"You sure your alright? You look tired." I asked quietly as I wrap my arms around him.

"I couldn't really sleep last night." Dom said quietly as he relaxed his muscles and closed his eyes.

"Why's that?" I asked softly while I traced my fingers over his back.

"I just got a lot on my mind right now. Was thinking all night long about it." He said and tightened his arms around my waist.

"You want to talk about it?" I asked him softly.

"No. I just want to lay here, with you." He said softly and snuggles closer to my body.
