It had been a few years since the Olympian council had been filled and ever since there, had been rumours about a new enemy rising. The new enemy were said to be the children of Gaia and Tartarus; they were called the Gigantes aka the Giants, each Olympian had one that would rival them. During this time, Perseus had been helping any demigods that he could during the time, by the time the war had come around, the demigods had formed legions at the base of Mount Olympus, if they were Kings like Perseus (Son of Zeus) or Theseus (Son of Poseidon) they had brought a portion of their kingdoms armies to help.

In the command tent was Achilles, Theseus, Perseus as well as Herakles, and Zoe Nightshade who was the Lt of Artemis band of man-hating girls known as the Hunters of Artemis. All of them were arguing, however the minute three godly presences appeared in the tent they had all shut up. The three godly presences were Percy, Athena and Artemis, the demigods and demi-Titaness all bowed "Milord and Milady's" Percy looked at them all, "stop this pointless arguing and get ready for a war that will define not only the gods lives but yours as well" he snapped, the demigods and Zoe nodded their heads in defeat,

"Theseus, Perseus get your armies ready to march. Achilles and Herakles find the other demigods and get them ready to march, Artemis and her hunters will cover the rear flank while Percy and I flash back up to Olympus to get the other Olympians." Athena spoke, all the demigods and Zoe covered their eyes as Athena flashed back to Olympus. Percy spoke "may the fates and Nike be on our sides today" Percy left the tent before flashing back up, Artemis and Zoe left for the hunters' camp site, just south of the command tent. Perseus and Theseus set of to do what Athena told them and so did Achilles and Herakles.

--Olympus throne room—

The remaining 10 Olympians as well as Hades were all in the throne room, in full battle gear, as Athena and Percy appeared they both got into their gear. Zeus looked at them "Today with the aid of our demigod children we shall secure the future of our thrones!" The gods gave a nod then they all appeared mid battlefield while the demigods and the hunters were picking off the monsters that had kept circling them, the gods then started at full sprint towards their giant opponents, Herakles had run up to his father, Zeus to support him in fighting Porphyrion, the demigod was using his club while Zeus was zapping his bane with the master bolt, the Giant and the god kept trading blows until Zeus managed to get lucky by plunging his bolt into the heart of the giant and the demigod managed to club the giant in the head. All of the other gods and goddess managed to defeat their banes, Percy however didn't have one. As all the Olympians apart from Artemis and Percy hadn't disappeared back to Olympus. As the remaining two gods stayed and the ground started to rumble and as everyone turned around, Gaia had started torise out of the ground. She was 20 feet tall, her skin was as white as quartz, her hair was brown and looked tangled like tree roots, her dress looked like itwas woven from blades of grass, her eyes looked solid green as if all nature had been condensed into a few spoonfuls of organic matter.

Percy created a barrier around Artemis, the demigods and the hunters, his sword which he called "The Blade of Justice." It was a 5ft sword, made out of Olympian steel as well as Atlantis bronze. He fully sprinted at Gaia, everyone was watching, the demigods on the ground, Artemis as well as Athena from her palace. As the god sprinted at the primordial of earth, he made a jump and aimed his sword straight at her heart and with his full strength on his descent down, before he could strike her, she swatted him out of the way as if he was a fly on the wall. Percy sighed, and managed to get into a roll, he then started to sprint again but this time changing his steps every so often so his move wasn't too predictable. This time, Percy had managed to sprint straight into the primordial, his sword striking her in the heart, defeating the Earth goddess as she fell back into her sleep, Percy passed out from all the strength he used. As he collapsed, the barrier fell and Artemis ran to him, and yelled "APOLLO!"
