Percy fell asleep eventually. When the summer ended, he went back to Sally's apartment, he was starting a new school yet again. Meriwether college prep. It was a progressive school in downtown Manhattan. The school year went as usual. Problems left, right and centre. He met his new brother, Tyson who was a cyclops. During gym class, they were attacked by a pack of Laistrygonian Giant. The ball, that the beasts threw, it ending blowing up a hole in the gym wall. "Run!" A now unenviable capped, Annabeth yelled. Annabeth put her cap back on and left, Percy ran to the locker room, grabbing riptide out of his ripped jeans pocket and ran out of the school, Tyson behind him.

Annabeth was waiting in an alley for them. She pulled them off the side walk as a fire engine speed towards the school. She pointed at Tyson, "Where did you find him?" Percy scowled, "He's my friend." The two debated, Annabeth looked, "Camp is in trouble, we need to get to it." She found a golden sided coin in her pocket, a golden drachma. "Anakoche" she shouted in Ancient Greek, "Harma epitribeious." Suddenly a smoky grey taxi appeared. The three got in, "Camp Half-Blood" Annabeth spoke, one of the grey sisters pointed their bony finger at Tyson "We don't take his kind!" Annabeth sighed, "Extra pay at the end" The sisters gave a toothless smile and the sister in the driving seat floored it to Long Island.

As the three arrived at the crest of Camp Half-Blood, demigods were being attacked, Percy ran up and helped the demigods. They were being attacked by flaming bulls, the demigods worked together to hold them off.

Chiron wasn't at camp, as he was accused of poisoning the tree, so he was fired. Tantalus, replaced him.

"We need a quest!" The crowd of demigods chanted, Tantalus sighed, "I will allow our champion to approach, Clarisse!" The Ares cabin started to chant her name and she went to the oracle and got her prophecy.

"You shall sail the iron ship with warriors of bone,

You shall find what you seek and make it your own,

But despair for your life entombed within stone,

And fail without friends, to fly home alone."

Clarisse had to find the golden fleece, she set off by herself on the CSS Birmingham which was crewed by undead Confederate soldiers, it was a gift from Ares. After being urged on by Hermes, the messenger god, Percy, decides to find the Fleece himself. Annabeth and Tyson join him on this unauthorized journey. Hermes had given Percy a bag, a thermos with the four winds in it, and a bottle of Minotaur vitamins.

As they left the camp, a few days later they found themselves on the Princess Andromeda, a cruise ship, which happened to be Kronos'. Tyson could smell all other monsters on board, the three kept to the shadows. However, when they got to the middle of the ship, they were spotted. They were near lifeboats, as monsters, and Luke swarmed the three. They ran to a life boat and got on, as a volley of arrows hit them, Percy used riptide to deflect the arrows as he did, a hellhound managed to jump at them but Percy managed to get the lifeboat free.

As the lifeboat fell, Percy yelled "Flask!" Annabeth didn't understand however Tyson did, the lifeboat started to rapidly descended at a 45-degree angle. A volley of Arrows and Javelins was targeted at them. The wind seemed to laugh as it was freed.

They travelled far, however the princess Andromeda seemed to follow them. As they, got towards Chesapeake Bay they were spotted by a Coast Guard ship. they headed into the bay and lost the ship.

They got off the lifeboat and headed towards a monster donut. As they entered the monster doughnut. As Annabeth and Percy looked around, they could hear scrapes. "No sudden moves!" Annabeth whispered loudly.

Percy turned around slowly and saw it, it was a Hydra. "Shit!" Percy thought. He uncapped Riptide, and dived to the side, Annabeth unsheathed her dagger and dived to the left. Percy sliced a head off however, a second head grew. As the three kept diving to the sides, a noise came. It was a steam engine boat coming up the river. Clarisse could be heard giving the firing order, suddenly the three hit the dirt and a cannon, blew the hydra into dust.

"You are in so much trouble" Clarisse smirked, as she got the three on board.

--Skip to getting the golden fleece—

Percy and Annabeth had freed the daughter of Ares and Grover, they all ran out as the monster was throwing rocks and chasing them, they ran out of options so they jumped off and started to swim, Tyson summoned Rainbow and a few other Hippocampi. The four grabbed onto them and they fell asleep.

As they woke up, they had reached Miami beach, they all got off and had to swim onto the beach as they Hippocampus wouldn't take them any further then were they already were due to the pollution and the amount of people.

As the four hit the sand, Percy turned and ask "Where's the bag?" Tyson and Annabeth didn't know however Tyson did have a bag and he handed it to Percy, "I thought it was food for Rainbow, it just has paper in it." Percy got the green paper out, turned out it was Money, he gave it to the daughter of Ares, and the golden fleece. "It was your quest, take it back to the camp." Clarisse took it and left for the airport to fly back to NY.

As the other four, Percy, Grover, Annabeth and Tyson were on the beach. Luke approached them with an Army behind him. Behind Luke was a fountain, so Percy got a drachma out, he made an Iris message to Mr D at camp. Everyone heard Luke confess that he poisoned the tree and not Chiron.

Soon an attack happened by Luke's forces however Chiron and the Party ponies turned up supporting Percy and the others, arrows were flying everywhere. Eventually Luke's forces withdrew. Chiron and the Party ponies took the remaining four back to camp.

They arrived not long after, the daughter of Ares due to the fact that the Centaurs travelled at unreal speed. The Fleece was placed onto Thalia's tree as it would expel the poison. Chiron was also reinstated as camp director and Tantalus was banished back to Tartarus.

After a few days, when Annabeth was on border patrol as there wasn't yet a guardian of the tree and fleece, she noticed Thalia Grace.

Soon, they carried Thalia into the big house, Percy and Thalia made their introductions. The fleece worked too well, not only had it expelled the trees poison, it brought Thalia Grace back to life.
