Prologue:- Avni

Year: - 1993

"Avi beta wake up. It is already 9 am." said my mother while she was opening my room curtains and then the window. I could feel her voice that she was very angry. 

"Mumma please I want to sleep for more 5 minutes." I told her and hid my face with the blanket because I was already feeling so cold, and my mom made my room so cold. 

"AVNI WILL YOU WAKE UP?? OR SHOULD I THROW A GLASS OF WATER ON YOUR FACE. THE PACKERS ARE COMING IN 30 MIN I WANT YOU READY BEFORE REACHING OUR HOUSE OTHERWISE NO ONE WILL BE WORST THAN ME." said my mother angrily I got shivers all over my mind. OH shit I forgot about my last day in Pune, and we are shifting to Dehradun. Finally, it is the day when I will sit in an airplane.  I am so excited. We would go from Mumbai to Delhi by air and then from Delhi to my new house by train. I have been dreaming about this day since my childhood. Seeing planes flying over my head made me fascinated by how it would feel while flying through clouds. It will feel like heaven.  

"AVNI?? ARE YOU GOING TO GET READY OR NOT??" shouted my mom from the kitchen I took my towel from my bag and ran straight inside the washroom to get ready. 

I got ready in no time and sat on the breakfast to have my breakfast. I had to stuff everything in my mouth because the whole table was filled with, I hated the most. 

"Why are you eating this?? Your food is in the kitchen" said my mom with a disappointed face about to laugh face. I was so happy that I will not have this food. 

"This is for me, your dad, workers and Chhavi. We love this. Just go and grab your food leave that food in that plate I will eat that you go and bring your food in a new plate." said my mom with a warm face and she went rushing to Chhavi's room to wake her up. 

Chhavi the youngest and the most mischievous one in our family. She is a miracle baby. We almost thought that she had died in the stomach itself but, she was alive in my mother's stomach. After she came to our live, we all are the happiest one on the earth. She was the one who brought fortune to our house. I hope nothing happens to her after all she is only lucky charm. 

"AVNI....." shouted my friend Tanya while she came in my house and hugged me so tightly and started to cry. She is the only friend I made here in Pune. Will I be able to survive without her? I responded to her hug and hugged her back. I was never this sad leaving a place because I have been shifting to new places every time. This farewell was different I was emotional, unhappy and sad till today. I always wish if I could avoid shifting to a new place. 

"I will miss you so much." said Tanya while we broke our hug. Our bond was completely different. It was magical just like God had sent me here to be friend with her. 

"I will also miss you a lot of Tanu. I wish I was not shifting from here. I wish I was here till the day I get marry." I said with teary eyes. 

"You could not do anything because it is not in your hands. Remember write me letters every day. If you don't, I will curse till eternity." said Tanya with a cute pout face. 

"Sure... Why not? You will receive letters regularly do not worry cutie." I said while wiping of my tears and her. 

"Yes... When are the packers coming?? I am here to help you. I already informed my mom and your mom yesterday so till than let's enjoy your favorite puffs."

"PUFF?? You brought me puffs?? I so needed your mom's handmade puff they are tastiest puff I have ever eaten." I said excitedly. 

"Yes... How could not make them on your last day here."

"Yes, and my mom made masala maggie, poha, cheese sandwich and we have some cream puffs you want to have some??"

"I will go with Maggie and cheese sandwich. I would miss them the most let us have the last meal together."

We took some in our plates and gobbled up everything until our stomach were filled like a balloon in with air.

All our stuffs were packed it departure to our new house. The time was here where I have to leave this city and go to completely new city. I am nervous for my new journey and also somewhat excited. 

I had really emotional farewell with my Tanya, and we promised each other to regularly write letters and be in touch.
