Mari fidgeted with her hair. She'd been shaky all morning, and today just wan't hitting it with her.
"Gotham City!"
Mari froze in her seat. She caught eye with Chloe and the rest of the Mari Protection Squad or MPS. And she smacked her head on the desk, her eyes wide. She left it there, still frozen.
The MPS and Chloe just stared ahead. They didn't want to interfere. But of course, the liar herself, just had to step in.
"Oh my god, Mari are you okay?" Lila asked.
"Yeah...." Mari said shakingly.
"Girl you have a heart of gold, if you're worrying about Mari-trash!" Alya exclaimed
"Alya." Mari spoke. "If you're trying to make me feel better by calling me Mari-trash, you've another thing your way. Plus, I only let my closest of friends call me Mari. So do us all a favor and call me Marinette!"
Alya laughed. "Oh quiet Mari. We could still be hanging out together if you didn't bully Lila."
"I said. Don't call me. Mari." Mari snapped coldly. "And if you ever let me hear you calling me Mari again, you might not see daylight again."
Alya paled quickly, she raised her hand to her throat, now shaking. "Y..you wouldn't."
"Oh yes I would."
