In the midst of the snow, we all rushed to open the metal gate for two approaching horses, only to be confronted by a horde of infected trailing behind them. "Save your bullets!" Owen's urgent command to conserve bullets echoed as Molotovs were hurled into the crowd. The ensuing chaos was deafening, and the screams of the infected were unbearable. After the fiery ordeal, we regrouped, and Owen led us to seek refuge in the garage. "Let's get inside!"

"How you guys doin'?" Nora's attempt to engage with two bearded men. "We're good, thanks." His voice was southern and enlightening, he seemed nice.

"Yeah." The darker-haired man deeply spoke, "You wanna get those saddles off." Lenny gave the men a nice smile reaching for the saddles "No, no, that's all right. We'll just ride out the storm and get out of your guy's hair." She placed her hands in her pockets and looked away to the side. "Y'all got any brushes for a towel or anything?" The blonde asked Lenny "No, sorry." Lenny softly frowned at him. Mel grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the light room which was where the others were heading too. "How long you all been here?" The blonde one was so curious it was getting a little annoying "Since yesterday." Manny replied bluntly "Yesterday." The other man spoke up, his voice was deeper than his partner's "Yep." Lenny replied, "What are y'all doing out this way?"

"Oh, just passing through. You two live nearby?" Jordan spoke up "We do. A few hours down the hill."

"Y'all should come back with us. Restock before you head out."

"Appreciate it," Mel remarked. "I'm Mel, by the way." She went to shake his hand. "Tommy. This is my brother." Tommy pointed to the other man "Joel." the revelation of the strangers' identities as Tommy and Joel stunned everyone. "Yall act like you've heard of us or something." Lenny leaned over to Mel "Did I miss something?" Mel looked over to her in disappointment "Wha-" The atmosphere shifted abruptly as a shotgun blast echoed, leading to a violent confrontation. "No!" Tommy jumped up but he was stopped by Jordan, Nick, and Nora; Nora was just hitting him like he was a punching bag, "Nora? All clear?"

"He's out." Lenny's shock mirrored the unfolding brutality. "Put him against the wall." Joel's groans and winces were loud, she looked at him as he stared at his brother who was currently on the ground. "Tommy." His voice was trembling a little, she could tell he was afraid but was just hiding it. A small tear fell down her cheek as she tried to hide it by shutting her eyes. She was scared. She didn't know what to do she was just stunned, the moment reminded her of the incident with her mother; she did nothing but just stand there.

"Get off me! Get off me! Aahh!" They dragged Joel to position him up on the tall window. "Joel Miller..." She chuckled "Who are you." Joel groaned.

"Guess" Abby stared him down. "Why don't you say whatever speech you've got rehearse and get this over with." He huffed his words out.

"Tourniquet his leg." Mel looked worried but got right into it, his groaning was getting louder by the second. Nora had moved from her position near Tommy so Len slowly moved over close to him, She fixed his position by sitting him upright and putting my coat behind his head, she could see the blonde from his head drip on to the white fur inside her coat. "You're gonna be fine, I promise." She softly whispered to him. She starts to gently wipe the blood from his head with her small handkerchief.

"Clear out!" Abby hollered.

Abby raised the golf club getting ready to do something but Len was too focused on Tommy to catch on. "You stupid old man." Len heard from afar. Abby pointed the club at him and then raised it again while getting a tight grip on it. "You don't get to rush this." Her breathing was getting faster faster every time she spoke to the man. What did he do to get Abby this mad? Len turned around in time to see Joel get hit with the club, the sight of his almost caved-in face frightened her. Lenny, catching sight of Joel's horrific fate, was overwhelmed with shock and tears.

Abby repeatedly kept hitting Joel but surprisingly he was still conscious and alive and slightly moving with every hit he took. In the corner of her eye, she saw the door slowly open, a mysterious brown-haired girl entered, triggering a short skirmish with Jordan who pushed her and pulled her onto the ground once he lost his balance. She pulled a knife on him and slashed him by his nose, she wasn't aware of her all of the surroundings so she got pushed to the ground and got pinned down by Nora.

Jordan was mad because of the cut and he went up to the girl and started kicking her in the chest until Manny pulled him away "You got her! Look, you got her! Okay?" Manny restrained him and held him tightly. "Let go!" Jordan still protested even while being strongly held. While staring at the girl we made a short eye contact, and she saw me bent down near Tommy.

"Okay! What is going on here!" Lenny yelled out making eyes fall on her "Can someone please just tell me what the fu-" As the situation escalated, a sudden blow left Lenny unconscious beside Tommy, a plea to spare her falling on deaf ears.

"Just leave her. We don't need her."
