3 months later...

Jungkook's Pov:

"Kook! You've got company." My mom shouts.

I sit up, the sun has barely risen. I glare at my phone before getting up and walking downstairs.

"Oh!" I say.

"Goodmorning." She smiles.

Her cheeks are light pink and she looks at the ground rather than my face.

"Kook..go put a shirt on. You're scaring the poor girl." My mom says.

I return a few minutes later, fully clothed.

"Did you wanna hang out today?" She asks.

"Of course."

My mom and dad leave for work and it's just me and-

"Meredith."

"Hm?" I say looking up.

"Have you talked to her?" She asks.

"Not much. Hi and bye. That's it."

"Sorry for prying."

"You're not prying."

"Right." She smiles.

She walks to me, stepping in between my legs.

"What do you want to do?" She asks.

She wraps her arms around my neck, leaning into me.

"Anything you want." I say reaching up to kiss her.

"Ok."

We walk to the mall laughing and carrying on.

"Meredith." She says stopping us.

"Hm?"

"There she is." She says pointing.

Meredith is in the ice cream shop sitting across from a guy. He's feeding her ice cream. I feel the jealousy building.

"You should go talk to her." Amirah says.

"Why?"

"She's your best friend."

Meredith's Pov:

"I love chocolate ice cream. The best flavor, hands down." He says.

I smile at him giddily.

"It's my favorite too."

"Match made in heaven." He smiles.

He picks up a napkin, wiping my face lightly.

"Hi guys!!"

I look over and see Amirah and Jungkook. He looks pissed.

"Oh- hi." I smile.

"How are you?" She asks.

"Good." Jackson says.

Jungkook sits beside me, Amirah next to Jackson.

"Well, thanks for joining." I smile.

Amirah and Jackson talk and talk and really hit it off.

"How are you?" He whispers.

He's not even looking at me.

"Ok. You?" I say.

"Couldn't be better."

"Sure." I laugh

He glares at me, I don't make eye contact, but I can feel it.

"Are you guys dating?" We ask at the same time.

I turn to look at him, he's already looking at me.

"No." I say.

He's silent.

"Yeah." He says.

Of course they are.

"Obviously." I say.

He doesn't look away from me, his eyes scan my entire face.

"I didn't think I'd ever see you again." I say.

"Why?"

"Because I told you to give me space and you did."

"How was I supposed to know when to come back?" He asks.

"You weren't. I didnt think youd want to."

"If I could have come back that night I would have."

"I'm glad you didnt. It's better this way. Obviously."

I motion to Amirah and she's smiling at us.

"Obviously." He says.

"It was nice seeing you guys." I say.

Jackson hugs me tightly and Amirah reaches for Jungkook's hand.

"Yeah we should do this more often." She smiles.

We just nod in agreement.
