Alisha Tâm was a fighter and she always has been, ever since she entered the world. She was not the type of person to give up so easily.

Though she may look like a small fragile girl, she was quite the opposite of that. If she was knocked down then she would instantly get back up and keep fighting. And she would keep fighting back until she couldn't take no more but even then, she'd force herself to endure it, in order to win.

And it's been like that, all of her life.

When she was first born, she had to fight against all odds. She had come into the world with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck, cutting off her oxygen supply. The doctors didn't even know if she would survive the first hour of life but she defied the laws and quickly pulled through.

Even as a child, she was dealt with shitty hand. She lived in the poor area, meaning her parents could barely make ends meet. They had just enough to live off of the bare necessities but even with all those struggles, she tried her hardest to overcome them. She did whatever she could to pull through, even if it was at the cost of her own freedom.

And even now, despite coming close to death, Alisha decided that she had to fight back. She believed that her time on this planet wasn't done quite yet, so she fought against the grim reaper just to earn a spot among the living. She refused to give up, no matter how painful her injury was.

"How is she?" June spoke up suddenly, breaking the quiet but tense atmosphere of the dropship.

The shaggy haired boy was sat down beside Alisha's unconscious figure, tightly holding her hand in his and he had been in that position for hours at this rate. He had basically been at her side, carefully watching over her since the moment she had been laid to rest on the makeshift bed.

June was afraid to tear his eyes away from her. He was afraid that if he got up, even if it was just for a split second, the girl would suddenly take a turn for the worst and he couldn't have that happen. He needed to be by her side, no matter what.

"I'm sure she'll be ok." Sky assured, sending him a gentle smile in return to calm him down.

Ruby was in the process of doing a routine check-up on the girl like inspecting the wound and changing bloody bandages. "The grounders cauterized her wound. Basically saved her life."
