Chapter II: Our story.

I wake suddenly from a nightmare. My breath is fast and I'm sweating. I look around the room I am and I remember what happened in the forest. I get up and walk towards the bed next to mine. Gray is sleeping soundly but it seems he hasn't got really bad injures so I just stroke his hair and turn towards another bed. In this one, Bickslow is lying with a clean bandage around his eyes. Both boys are the only ones in the infirmary so I grab a white gown which is hanging in a peg and left the sad room. The guild hall is crowded but not as full as it was years ago. I cough and everyone look at me so I wave my hand and smile. All of them start cheering and hugging me and I enjoy being with them again. Finally it's his turn.

"Shrimp." He whispers. I throw myself to him and wrap my arms around his neck. He hugs me back. "Did ya miss me?

"You don't know how much." I mutter. He tightens his grip and chuckles a bit.

"How many times I gotta say you to don't leave my side?" He asks and I can't help but laugh. "You're pretty small."

"Shut up!" I scold him. "What's new?"

"Come with me." We part and he shows me around. "After the attack, seven of our members died. Makarov, Macao, Laki, Kinana, Droy - sorry, Levy-, Warren and Max. All of them were killed by enemy fire. The rest of us have split in teams. You'll be split too. We are waiting' 'til Bickslow and Gray are awake. Then Lis will put you the guild mark."

"Oh, I see. What about the other guilds? Sabertooth? Lamia Scale?" I ask. He shakes his head.

"Blue Pegasus fell two years ago and their members are missing. Lamia Scale's too. We haven't heard from Lyon and his team for months. Cana is in Quatro Cerberus with Bacchus working on the communications between the guilds. Sabertooth and Mermaid Heel are in a anti-magic zone but they're still fighting so we haven't lost the hope."

"It's strange listening your voice." I say. Before he can say something Wendy enters in the room. She has grown a lot in these five years we spent out. She's taller than me and her chest is bigger. Her hair is cut to chin height and her body is slightly muscular. She's now seventeen. Romeo enters after her. He looks like Natsu when he was younger but his hair is shorter than the Dragon Slayer's.

"Wendy. Are you okay?" Gajeel asks. "You look exhausted."

"Yeah. It's just I'm a bit tired. I've been working on Bickslow's eyes for a while."

"Do you think he'll be okay? Where are Juvia and Lis?"

"Well. I think he'll be able to use Figure Eyes again and he might recover fully but we won't know until he wakes up." Wendy explains. "Lis told me that she was going to bring some visors for Bickslow and Juvia went with her. They'll be here in a few minutes."

"Thanks Wendy." She says goodbye and leaves towards Lucy and Natsu's table. Erza, Mira and Elfman are with them too. In another table are Laxus, Evergreen and Freed. They look depressed. We hear cheers from the other table.

"Gajeel! Gray's gonna wake up!" Natsu says. He looks so happy. Gajeel smiles at him and nods.

"We should go to the Raijinshuu table. They need to know about Bickslow's situation." I whisper. He nods and grabs my hand. I blush fiercely and follow him. When we arrive, Evergreen greets me with a fake smile. We've been really close friends for a while. Well. All of us, the kidnapped ones, are really close now. "We have news about Bickslow. Wendy have told us."
