Nobody's POV:

...

9:55 PM

Fear.

That's what every soul in the sewers felt. Unadulterated fear at the overwhelming evil that pulsed out of Itadori.

"Sukuna..." The patched up curse whispered in horror, staring at malevolence itself.

-

The feeling, as quickly as it came, had gone away, Itadori keeping possession of his body and opening his eyes. Everyone stood still in a weird trance, even the cursed spirit, who looked especially terrified.

"I'll allow it this once... there won't be a second time."

Those words flooded through the sewers like the sludge next to them did, a sinister atmosphere pulsating through the space. Itadori took this chance, allowing his fist to collect his cursed energy, cocking it back as he began running towards the bewildered curse. With all the strength he could muster, he launched the fist forward, connecting with Patch-Face's jaw.

...

For the weeks he was away from everyone, he had grown considerably stronger and more knowledgeable about cursed energy in general. During this time, he had learned how to harness his cursed energy and use it with his already superhuman-like attacks. However, there was always a delay between his fist's first impact with whatever he was hitting and the curse energy that followed.

The delay was a fraction of a second, and although he couldn't utilize his cursed energy at its maximum potential, this delay proved to be an even greater weapon.

The cursed spirit ate the powerful punch, his blood-curling eyes locking onto Yuji's face. However, within a split second, a mound of cursed energy expelled from the vessel's fist, launching Patch-Face back with a hole in his cheek. The curse's blood escaped from the wound and spilt all over the sewer's ground.

Kugisaki and Nanami stared in awe at the sheer power behind Itadori's strike, the former almost a little envious that he had become this much stronger in such a short amount of time. However, she beamed internally at the fact that his wish of becoming stronger was coming true.

"Divergent fist." Yuji stated with a serious look in his eyes, steam pouring off of his knuckles due to the amount of force it struck the curse with.

"Y-You–" The curse sputtered in a muffled voice, the hole in his cheek quickly being regenerated, although the lasting damage was already done. "You hurt my soul."

"...What?" Yuji raised an eyebrow, the other pair quickly making their way to him and standing by, awaiting the curse's next move. "I'm not sure what that means... um– you have a name?"

"Well, the name they gave me was– Mahito. Something about true humans. I don't really care about any of that, I just want to kill and have fun!" The immature sounding curse named Mahito spun around, a sadistic smile painted on his lips. Both Yuji and Nobara were insanely creeped out, but it went away quickly when Nanami sped forward with his cursed weapon in tow.

"Listen closely. My technique assigns weak spots to my opponents by dividing their body into tenths. If I strike them at a seven-to-three ratio, I'll deal significant damage through my cursed energy!" Kento yelled over his shoulder, bringing his weapon down from the air and striking Mahito in the shoulder, although all it did was melt into the cursed spirit and inflict no damage.

"I know your tricks now." Mahito grinned, throwing his free hand forward that was bubbling with purple cursed energy.

"I told you already. I'm in overtime."
