HOURS earlier, at Skull's lair.
"We can't just sacrifice him you know."
"His tongue, are you sure that we should cut his tongue--"
"It's okay, the kid still has a life outside anyway," the man in question intervenes.
Hope stood in front of the man, "Are you sure? Even with the Witch's power, we cannot grow your tongue back once it is cut," she said.
"But we can seal and heal it back immediately though," James added.
The man suddenly grabs the Bracelet of Mimicry from James' hand then wears it, and shortly after he wore the bracelet, he shapeshifts into Logan. Members of Skull were shocked at first but then they continued to argue on what to do and who should cut it if they agree to do it then all of a sudden, the man runs then picks up the scissor that is placed above the table at the other side of the room.
Everyone else looked at him, both Hope and Steve ran towards him to stop him when they saw him aiming to cut his tongue with the pair of scissors in his hand. It happened too fast that when both Steve and Hope reached the man, his tongue had already reached the floor and his mouth is already gushing out with blood.
Maya did not let any moment to waste and also run to the man to heal him immediately.

Hours later, at Logan's house.
After taking a bite of the cake that his Aunt prepared, Logan faked falling into the floor while all the other family members who also ate the cake started convulsing and falling unconscious, no one from his family members who were at the dining table were exempted, both his Aunt Emily and Elena are now unconscious, his grandmother Ramona and Cousin Elvin followed to drop just after Logan, and Logan felt the heavy, masculine body of his Uncle Javier falling into the floor last. Only his two-year-old cousin is not at the dining table at that time.
When Logan figured that everyone had been poisoned, he decided that he should save his Uncle Javier first since he was not able to take the Miracle in prior to eating that cake, but then as Logan pulls his body close to his Uncle, he heard their door forcefully opening then heavy footsteps followed.
He knew that it is not Skull so he rushed to take a sip of the Miracle to at least be strong enough to run if the people that barged into their house does something to them, but immediately when he got a sip of the Miracle, he saw the group of men that are now standing in front of his family who are all unconscious. They stood there for some seconds first before roaming around the house while pouring a liquid at the floor.
Logan could smell what they are pouring and he immediately know what it is and what is next to happen to his family who may just be about to face a second death. Logan, though still having a blurry vision, pulled his body towards his Uncle Javier again because he knew that only his Uncle would be able to fight these men.
He looked at the part where his Uncle fell unconscious and he slowly recognized the person who is now lying there, it no longer is his Uncle but his Cousin Elvin which has foaming white bubbles in his mouth. He looked around and then he saw someone igniting their dining table into fire and just at the distance, at the door of their kitchen, he saw his Uncle Javier being dragged away.
Logan still felt some effects of the poison from the cake and also fell unconscious after seeing his Uncle getting dragged.

Present time, at the Skull's lair, after the fire.
James and the Skull was able to bring back Luther and the other family member safely.
