Venice sat and looked around the room. It was an interview room and she shuddered like she as allergic. She thought of her dad and knew she got that from him. The door opened and a female detective walked in. She sat opposite Venice. "I'm sorry that you're in here but it is a quiet space... so tell me, how do you know that this is your cousin?.."
"She has been through some tough times and she was turning a corner.. she was staying with us and all of a sudden she went missing a couple of days ago, but it is not unknown for her to do that and she is over 18, so we just thought she would turn up... but your artist drawing of her, well, it definitely looks like her.." Venice said.
"Okay.. we will need you to formally identify the body but first of all can you tell us something about her.. her name, she was found with no ID..
"Can I identify her first?... I don't want to preempt anything I would rather that I knew it was her first before I start talking about her.."
