"Don't thank me, you're family..." she walked up the stairs and Kat followed. She showed her into the room. "I'll come and see you in a lil while... there are fresh towels, shower cremes.. even new toothbrushes in the cabinet...
Kat smiled. "Even your spare rooms are stocked up.."
"Girl, when you've had as many kids as I've had.. you learn to keep everything stocked up.. it goes fast... even now, they come in.. steal my towels, and my body washes.... They have no shame.. they have their own houses and income too!..."
Kat laughed at Charisma, the way she told her things were funny. But it was true, Charisma always had an open door policy with her kids and family, everyone was welcome it was a second home to all of them and Kat loved that, it never felt awkward, Charisma just wasn't made that way, she was full of love and warmth, it radiated from her and it made her like a magnet, it drew people in.
Charisma saw a call coming through to her cell as she headed back downstairs. "Doctor Roberts.. please tell me everything's okay...

"I don't know quite how to tell you this... and I'm not sure why your medical team in LA didn't pick up on it either....
