"I came over to say hi but that was nice to hear too"
Lottie felt the heat rise to her cheeks yet again she knew she was bright red. She stared at the ground willing it to open up and swallow her so she could escape this moment but the floor didn't crack open and she had to face this awfully awkward situation.
"oh no no i was uh talking about a different Ryan" she stumbled over every word
"was your friend not just talking about Eli" he asked clearly trying to repress a smile
"no uh teal she was thinking of dying her hair yep"
His smile broke and spread across his face
"oh really"
Lottie could hear her friend giggling at her horrible attempt at a cover up from behind her.
she signed "no" he laughed slightly
"so you were talking about me"
"she was" Lennie piped up from behind her
"well thank you" he smiled there it was that smile that stuck itself in her brain the same way a good drum pattern would repeat in her head for days it was always there in the back of her head for a second she let it distract her from the horribly embarrassing situation she was in.
"Okay then I think it's time me and Lennie leave i have a great day Ryan" she got up and stared at Lennie until she followed
"oh okay bye i'll see you later" he waved as Lottie speed walked away with Lennie in tow.
"I didn't even get to finish my coffee" Lennie complained as soon as they'd gotten out the door
"i think you'll be fine and I wish i could say the same for me"
"Lottie don't be daft you will be fine he was laughing in there and once you get over yourself you can laugh about it with him"
"Can I because right now it feels like he's going to block me"
"He won't block you don't be so dramatic i knew you should have gone into acting" Lennie hit her on the arm playfully while they walked.Lottea._ added to their story
