𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄...slytherin table beside Pansy, I watched as all the owls soared in parcels and notes clutched at their claws.
A small barn owl swooped down dropping a small package at my plate before landing on the table infront of my plate.
"Hey Hettie take as much as you need." I spoke gesturing to the plate between us stacked with a hearty English breakfast. Hettie hooted gratefully and wolfed down two sausages, a bacon rasher, a potatoe waffle and some peas.
Pansy watched curiously as I tore open the parcel revealing the box of nail polishes.
"Ugh I can't test them out as I promised mother to have clean nails until she sends me some nail rebuilding protein." I complained dropping the polishes onto the table.
Once I'd finished breakfast I took the package up to Mattheos dorm knocking on the door.
The oak door swung open revealing a grinning Mattheo.
"Ah in you come princess. Have a good breakfast?" He asked stepping back to let me in. I nodded in response stepping into his room.
"What ya got there? A present? Oh baby you didn't have to you know my birthday is next month." He teased. I laughed rolling my eyes.
"If you want some you can certainly have-" I cut myself off am idea forming in my head.
"Mattheo?"
"Yes?" He said suspiciously his eyes narrowing.
"Can I please paint your nails?"
"No! No way Y/n! I don't want your present anymore!" He protested shaking his head.
"Please? It doesn't have to be your fingernails I can do your toenails?"
He huffed in defeat his shoulders slumping.
I grinned guiding him to the bathroom.
He hopped up onto the sink swinging his legs.
I knelt down holding his foot.
"Oh yeah I could get used to you down there princess." He cooed running his hands through my hair gently.
I snorted rolling my eyes and I ripped his sock off.
Slowly Mattheos toes were turning a similar shade to the rainbow.
"Stop wiggling!"
"It feels weird!" He complained plaiting my hair. Once I'd finished I leant back admiring my work.
"Well I think it's safe to say the polish works."
"Do I look beautiful?" He mocked pretending to swish his non-existant long hair.
"Like a princess."
"Where'd you get the polish?"
"Why? You want some?"
"No!" He gasped in mock offence.
He jumped off the sink before helping me back up to my feet.
"Thank you for letting me do your nails." I murmered nuzzling into him.
"Anytime princess." He replied kissing the top of my head.
I pulled back rummaging through the cabinet before handing him some nail polish remover and a wipe. He grinned and got to work on removing the polish.
"As much as I love the nails I can't let anyone see them."
"Because big bad Mattheo wouldn't have magical rainbow toes." I teased.
