It's new years eve
the lights lights are shining
all across the street
they're really blinding,
it's almost time
to start the countdown
and wish for another year
to stay in union.

9- the clock it's ticking
8- we're all eating
7- everyone's greeting
6- the wine is opened
5- we're all together
4- it's almost magical
3- the wishes are made
2- the fireworks start
1- it's about to start
0- It's finally over
It's new year,
January the 1st
and we're still here
hoping for the best.
Last year was bad
the one before worse,
let's pray this one will be short.
