Damian Wayne x Reader / Jon Kent x Reader

(Yan) Jon Kent vs Damian Wayne Insecurities about each other for Y/N

Both boys have serious intrusive thoughts about their best friend. With Y/n in the picture, their best friend is just competition. (her/she pronouns used)

Damian's thoughts about Jon:

- Damian thinks Y/n likes Jon more because of his kindness, he knows he can be *ahem* too honest sometimes

- Damian fears that Y/n will realize that she could have a relatively safer and normal future with Jon, than with him

- Damian knows that Y/n would have NORMAL in-laws and looks at his mother and mother's side as a threat to his future with Y/n

- Damian also knows being Kryptonian is something that Jon will always have over him. If Y/n choose Jon she would be taught their ways. She would explore the Fortress of Solitude and have all their alien tech at her disposal.

Jon's thoughts about Damian:

- Jon thinks Damian could attract Y/n with his wealth. She would never have to work a day in her life if she chose not to

- Jon fears Y/n will realize she could become a famous celebrity if she chooses Damian

- Jon knows that Y/n would be welcomed into a huge (capable) family with lots of love.

- Jon also knows that if Y/n went with Damian, she would have Wayne Manor at her disposal. (Along with any other real estate she could want) Y/n would become Gotham's princess and hold the city in the palm of her hand.

The boys take this fight over Y/n too seriously and it is beginning to take a strain on their partnership, but more importantly their friendship. They see their best friend as everything they don't have and view themselves as something flawed, something not worthy. Things starting getting really petty.

- Jon thinks about how Y/n gets to stare at those green eyes all she wants and what they would look like in little Damian and Y/n babies.

- Damian thinks about how her babies would inherit the cute S curl and brainstorms what powers they would get.

- Damian thinks about how Y/n would be able to join a close knit NOT horribly broken family. There is much less trauma than if she were to go with him.

- Jon thinks about how he's just some "farm boy". If Y/n settles down with him she would be forced to move around just like his mom was when she had him.

- Damian thinks about how Y/n could enjoy the beautiful shining buildings of Metropolis, along with much better weather than the gloom of Gotham.

- Jon thinks about what Damian has to inherit. He has endless possibilities for his future. Y/n would next in line to anything Damian could get. Her future would be very comfortable in any scenario. Y/n has as many possibilities as Damian could have.

Both boys are ruining themselves over this. All for your hand.
