"Are you okay? Omg." London asks me as she squeals and pulls me into a hug. I notice a scratch on her face but nothing deep.
She pulls me away from the hug. They put me and London in a separate room away from Tamira and Nicole. I guess they don't want another fight to break out because it most definitely will. Nicole tried to sneak me while I was fighting her friend and that caused her to get jumped.
"I honestly did not expect it to go down that way and I didn't even get my basketball points, I honestly didn't even expect you to jump in for me. Usually, everyone just lets them do what they want. Last year they jumped this girl who had slept with Korbin" London says as she sighs and shakes her head.
"I'm okay and did you think I was finna let her put her hands on you and I wasn't going to slide on her?" I ask her as I look at her.
Though me and London haven't known each other for very long, she's the realest friend I've had and I don't see a negative bone in her body. In this stage of my life, I need someone positive and I think my mom will be very proud of me for standing up for something wrong.
"Well I'm glad you did, I never had someone stand up for me the way you did. I usually just sit back and take it but seeing you stand up to them and fighting for me made me want to fight for myself and you as well." London says as I see her eyes start to water
"It's okay don't cry, I don't have any scratch on me or anything. I'm good and I bet those bitches want to say shit else to you now." I say with finality in my voice.
"OMG what are we going to do about the cheer tryouts, I forgot!!" London starts to pace back and forward in the room.
"Don't trip about it, last I checked Nicole shoved you first so this is going to be a line of self-defense and I can just say I attempted to break it up with Tamira but she put her hands on me so," I say smoothly.
"Never knew you were such a great liar and the bestest best friend," London says as she pulls me into another hug.
They probably called my sister, Let's just hope she doesn't come up here showing her but. Knowing her she will.
The door opens and the superintendent, Miss. Walsh walks in. "You guys can come into office now." She says with a calm voice.
We walk into the office while passing Nicole and Tamira on the way. Tamira is still crying and her hair is wrapped up in a plastic bag.
Jump in a fight again. You got the right one.
"Okay, Ms.Greene and Ms.Carter may I ask why the fight started?" Principal Matthews asks us.
Principal Matthew is a bald white chubby man who seems to be in a horrible mood because of this fight.
"Well Nicole shoved me Principal Matthews and I was using nothing but self-defense," London says nervously.
