During their kiss, San had heard the door click open, and out of the corner of his eyes, he felt Wooyoungs darkened gaze directed solely at him and Irene, and then registered that he had suddenly walked out of the room after.

Because of this, San had instinctively pushed Irene off, and stood up in shock, as his nerves were running wild, with Irene looking hurt as she gets pushed off.

Irene noticed that San had lost his composure when Wooyoung had walked into the room, his face reading guilt and regret, which Irene disliked a lot. She wondered why he cared so much about what Wooyoung thought, to the point she has to get pushed off embarrassingly, after making the first move... She was irked.

San felt a wave of guilt ambush him, as he realised Wooyoung must be really angry right now. Walking into a scene of your best friend who you helped heal for so long, kissing their ex like it was nothing, must've irritated the other.

Shit.

He fucked up.

Wooyoung had walked into a scene he thought he would never see even in his worst nightmare; San and his ex making out.

As he returned to his room, he tried to calm his seething resentment for the girl, and his sense of betrayal towards San, as he closes the door of his bedroom shut, and clutches onto the wall for support.

His heart rate increases rapidly, as tears threaten to well his eyes and a sick feeling burns his stomach, as anxiety overruns his body.

It hurts so much...

He hated the sight of them two together, partly due to the fact that he has tried so hard to make San forget about her, and then comes strolling into his life, like she didn't make his best friends life living hell.

However, the pain he is going through right now, as his knees buckle and falls to ground, silently sobbing through the hurt that overwhelms him, was also because of his own personal feelings that were not to be spoken about.

San, who felt like he committed a crime against humanity, was looking at the door with a regretful gaze, and Irene got up and stood up defiantly in front of San.

"Why did you push me off?"

"Was it because Wooyoung walked in?"

"Are you ashamed of me or som-"

San looked down at Irene, his mind completely filled with nothing but Wooyoung, and replied

"I'm sorry Irene.. But you shouldn't have came"

"Why are you saying that now?"

"It was a mistake for me to let you come, I think it's best you leave."

"Why"

"Because Irene, when i was hurt from our breakup, Wooyoung was the one who helped me get over you. "

"It's not fair on him."

San said sternly, forgetting their reminiscent fleeting moments just before, as he gets reminded of the conversations Wooyoung had advised him against people that hurt him, the main suspect standing right in front of him right now.

He had been swayed by the nicety of his ex, and forgotten how much he had to go through because of the fact that she had left, and now that she couldn't find anyone better, came running back to him. Plus the fact that, he wanted Wooyoung after all, not her.
