"Ms Smith will you please join the rest of the class in our discussion?" Mr Camron was fussing at me. He's my AP English teacher.
"Yes sorry Mr Cameron." I was currently in AP English reading my physics book. I get that's frowned upon.
I guess I'm like smart or whatever but I really don't like being in almost all the AP classes my school offers.
Mr Cameron was going on and on but even though he told me to pay attention I was not. I was thinking about the basketball game I was going to tonight with my friend Gracie.
I'm not the biggest sports person ever but Gracie is a cheerleader so sometimes I go to watch her and I talk to some of my other friends. I'm not popular or anything but I have a few other friends but Gracie is my best friend.
Mr Cameron was finally done with the lesson and the bell rang. I walked into the hallway and to my locker. I started putting my books up when Gracie walked over.
"Hey Morgan." She had a big smile on her face.
"Hey Gracie."
"So Jace from second period asked me out!" She was almost yelling in the middle of the hallway.
" Calm down ok?"
"Sorry I'm just excited. We're going to the movies Friday night."
I laughed. Gracie has always been boy crazy. She always has a boyfriend or is talking to someone. I've never had a boyfriend. Don't get me wrong I think plenty of guys are cute, hot whatever you want to say but I don't know, the guys at my school just don't seem that interesting.
"We're watching this new horror movie." The theater in our town didn't get many new movies so when it did eventually everyone ended up going.
"Ok Gracie I have to go home but I'll see you later at the ball game."
"Ok Morgan, I'll see you later, I think Jace is coming." She started off down the hallway.
I started to walk to my car. But before I could get there I ran into someone in the parking lot. I looked up and it was Austin Blair. Every girl in school had a crush on him but he never dated anyone and he wasn't a jock or anything. No one actually knew that much about him but everyone thought he was hot.
I mean I guess he wasn't as bad as some of the guys here but honestly I don't get it.
"Oh I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention." I really was just trying to hurry so I said sorry and started to leave.
"You know you really should."
"I should really what?" I literally just told him I was sorry.
"Pay attention."
"Ok I will." I finally started to my car. I heard him mumble under his breath as I was leaving but I didn't have time to say anything to him.

I walked into the gym at my high school. There were so many people in the bleachers. I never really got the appeal of watching sweaty people run a round bouncing a ball up and down but it's whatever.
I went and sat down by some of my friends. They were talking about every person on the basketball team and every aspect of their lives. I didn't see Gracie though.
I started to add my input in on the team captain and then I got a phone call,
"Hey Morgan." It was Gracie.
"Hey where are you I'm at the game?"
"I can't go. I got sick on my way home from school so I'm not going to be there." She sounded really sad about it.
"It's ok. I'm not staying here if you're not coming though." We both laughed.
"Ok well I'll talk to you later Morgan."
"K bye Gracie."
I loved Gracie and always supported what she done but I was not staying at this game if she was not coming.
I told all my friends bye and left.
I was walked out of the front door and started to turn the corner of the building when someone said my name. I turned around, right into someone.
