Wanted to give you guys an heads up on the names because I will be using them often.

Inaya's POV

"He's right Inaya. You shouldn't have seen that." Rishi uncle said pointing the gun at me.

I immediately jerked my head away from the monitor. I pulled out the gun from my boots before he could realise to stop it.

"Stay away." I said pointedly.

"Children shouldn't play with real guns Inaya beta. Put that down and hand me over the video file and we will live peacefully." He said with a devious smirk.

"Years chachu! I have spent years under the guilt of being unable to save him! And you killed your nephew! For what?" I asked. I wasn't going to cry. I wasn't going to give up.

"You want me to ease your burden kiddo? Is that your last wish before dying? It is pathetic." He asked and laughed, a laugh I didn't recognise as his, an expression which didn't reflect the blessing eyes of an elder. He was someone else. This despicable and ruthless person was well hidden beneath the blanket of a kind CFO, a loving father husband and brother.

"I'm not the one who dies. You can be delusional if you want. Tell me why you killed him?"

"And what's in it for me? I will tell you everything you want to know and you will transfer the entire video including all the information into this pendrive. Your 5 minutes starts now!" He said throwing the pendrive in my direction and starting the timer on his watch.

"No shady business allowed. I will be watching. Now go!" He said taking slow steps towards me. I did as he said.

"I'm not Akash Malhotra's son. My father was Ashok Shah, his bestfriend, who died along with my mother when I was young." He said with a sharply breaking edge to his voice. It wasn't full of hatred but raw emotions. He wasn't Mr. Malhotra's own brother.

"My father was involved in illegal exportation of petroleum. His business was flourishing and we were happy. Nobody in the family knew about it, nobody until one day someone leaked his identity." I could hear his voice getting hoarse with every syllable. He picked up the glass of water present on the table and gulped it in a go.

"Wh- who leaked the identity?" I asked.

"Are the files deleted?" He asked peeking into the monitor screen.

"Almost there." I said as the monitor screen said 30% completed with a green bar.

"It was Akash Malhotra." He said looking at anywhere but the monitor.

Akash Malhotra is the reason he isn't with his parents. Akash Malhotra is the reason he hates everyone. He could choose to be better but he chose to be his father.

"My parents were going to Jaipur for a vacation but I couldn't accompany them because of my school. He got a call on his way and was hit by a panic attack. They died due to car crash. They say it was an accident. For me it was murder. A murder Akash Malhotra should have paid for. I wasn't prepared enough to make him pay. So I decided to wait. To worship him like a saint. He loved me more than he loved Vivek. But then he handed over his position to him and died before I could avenge for my parent's death. I made a plan. To kill Vivek's eldest son and let Aditi take his position after Vivek's despise. But I ended up killing the younger one."
