After the events that happened at the party a few nights ago, Scar seemed to be more closed off than normal, and Cub seemed to have an eye on Grian since the party.

Grian was in his room alone, sat close to the window with a small notebook in his lap, when Grian was younger he picked up draw he only drew things that he liked, like flowers or animal just things that gave him joy and tofay he was drawing Scar.

Until the sound of an owl scared him. The owl stopped and sat at his window, waiting for it to be open. Then Grian realised it was Jimmys owl. As he opened the window, Jimmys owl hopped it Grians' leg. Grian saw the owl came with a letter that Grian took off the owl, and then Grian opened to see what it said.

Grain, i'm going to be in Scar Kingdom today. I have late notice i know if it surprises you or not. Lizze is great friends with Scar, and she wanted me to sort out all the transportation and dates for your wedding cus lizze to busy to it herself. Welp, see you soon, my lovely grain;)

Grian sighs well reading that letter he can't tell if Jimmy meant to spell his name wrong or not. Jimmy could be another kind of stupid sometimes, but the news did get him a little excited to see his friend again so soon.

As Grian looks over the letter again, he is only putting it down when he hears a nock on the door. Grian raises his head to Scar, opening the door "hey Grian" Scar says, looking at Grian.

"So Jimmy solidarity is coming today to help with wedding plans, i heard that you were friends, and I was wondering if you could meet him today and discuss the plans I'm busy today with other stuff" Scar tells him.

"Yeah, that sounds great. I'm happy to help," Grian says with a smile.

Grian went his day waiting for Jimmy to get to the kindom day full of Grian getting to bully his best friend.

But that's when he heard Mumbos voice. He turned to look to see who he was with to see Mumbo and Scar talking.

"Scar, you like him a lot, don't you... Scar, this can't work anymore. You know that? " Grian hears Mumbo tell scar, but what does that even mean.

"Mumbo, I've loved you, though, and the whole marriage is for alliance," Scar says. Now things are clearly up in Grians head.

"Is it, though I've seen how look at him" mumbo sighs. "Scar, I've talked to Scott, and I'm leaving to become Scott new assistant, this.. us, it's not going work out, Scar. "

Grian ran off before either of them saw him. Grian couldn't believe it. Scar and Mumbo in a relationship and Mumbo was always nice to him, never rude or spiteful towards Grian.

There was a lot going through Grians head he was mad at either of them at first. Grian didn't want to merry a man. He barely knew rather merry someone he loved, so wouldn't scar and scar was king he could do what he wanted, right?

After a while, Grian was sitting on a bench in the garden when Bdubs walked outsaid with jimmy beside him.

"Grian!" Jimmy said, a voice filled with excitement to see his friend once again.

With Jimmy with him, the day went faster as the work on the wedding plays and transportation for the geust plus random stories Jimmy told him, it took Grians mind off what he over heard of Mumbo and Scar conversation.

The rest of the afternoon, Grian spent with Jimmy after it got late. One of the maids took Jimmy to a guest room. And Grian started to head to his own room.

On the way there, he saw Mumbo with a box of things.

"Hey, what are you doing, Mumbo?" Grian asks the man with jet black hair, though grian knew what he was doing.

"Oh, I'm leaving tomorrow. I'm going to work at the northern elven kingdom to work for King Scott, " Mumbo replied with the same friendly voice he always had.

"Oh well, goodnight Mumbo" Grian says, his goodbye to Mumbo. As he continues to his room as he gets up the stairs, he sees Scars office lights still on.

"Scar?" Grian calls out well, nocking on the door.... no reply. "Scar, I'm going to come in. "... still no reply.

Grian slowly opens the door to see Scar sitting in his chair with his face in his hands, trembling. Grian looks at scar with empathy.

Grian slowly approaches Scar. "Hey Scar, are you alright?" Grian spoke softly. "Get out," Scar says with a firm voice, but to Scar dismay, Grian did not listen. Instead, he got close to scar and rests a hand on Scar shoulder.

Scar grabs Grians wrist as Scar gets up and looks at Grian. "I've told you to get out" Scar says with a firm and demanding voice.

(HEYY it only took me a year to add another chapter i totally forgot about this fanfic lmao i was wondering if i did keep making this fanfic i might need help with editing or ideas on what to do next)
