"Hey,  you have to share! Don't be stingy and hog all of the candies. I brought you a lot of boxes, the least you can do is share a piece with me!" Aisha nuffed when Kavya held the box away from her,  hugging it to her body like it was a precious baby.

"Oh please, we all know one piece will become two, and then the entire box will be gone! You're a supermodel, think of your figure!" Kavya teased just when Aisha attempted to pounce at her for delectable pastry. Upon seeing the pout from her bae, she laughed and placed the box in front of her.

She shook her head when Aisha proved her right by taking two more pieces out of box, eating it continuously at a time and nearly choking because it was so double sweetener in her throat. She opened her mouth to speak but immediately closed it when she saw her bhai giving her a warning glare.

Aisha rolled her eyes at him. He was always worried about her public image due to her job, but even so, he always did as he pleased without caring about his public image! She complained in her head about how much of a hypocrite he was. Just because he was born 5years ahead of her, he always scolded her like he was the parent instead of being brother!

After swallowing the food, she finally spoke up. "I'm a natural in losing weight, just a few more pieces wouldn't hurt!" Aisha protested, reaching over and seizing a few more, stuffing it into her mouth before Bae could hunt her down.

"Alright, alright. But if your manager comes to me for your weight gain, I'm blaming it on you." Kavya stuck out her tongue, knowing very well that Aisha's manager was very strict over her diet because bae always ate morr food than her stomach could hold.

She grabbed a marshmallow candy and bit into it marvelling at the way it melted in her mouth. The candies were alot sweet, but the marshmallow were given it perfectly amount of sweetness. It was creamy and cottony and sticky, which made her think back to a childhood memories of unknown boy handing her  daily from daily seller man from cycle fav bhudiya ka baal (cotton candy).

Veer couldn't help but be amused by banter before him. Who knew these two incredibly wealthy women with their skinny figures would become so stingy when it comes to food, snacks,  dessert?

Was this what their friendship was built upon?Being petty and childish gluttons?

After finishing an entire packets of sweets and some breakfast, Aisha had to leave for another photo shoot again. But before her departure, she set up a date when she could sleep over at her bae's home in order to catch up on the things she missed while being out of the city.

Now that she had made the decision to support their relationship, she had turned giddy at the thought of finding out how her bestfriend had managed to get her Ravan bhai into her bed.

When Kavya bid Aisha goodbye, she knew it was time to face Ravanraj infront of her. She could practically feel Veer's curious stare creating a hole in her soul. He had been studying her so intently from the moment she woke up that she wondered if he could read her mind at this point.

Closing the door, she reluctant to turn around and face the intimating man sitting on her couch. Even now as she stood facing her door, she knew he was still looking at her.

Veer was the first to speak up. "Don't try to delay this conversation". His voice wasn't the one she had gotten accustomed to. It wasn't overly warm or welcoming, instead,it sounded remote and indifferent. It was ice cold as if he was doing a business transaction or dealing with his subordinates.

For some reason, she disliked the way he spoke to her. But why did this voice sound so familiar? Why did she feel like she's expirencing a sense of deja vu and that once upon a time, he used to speak to her in such a detached and unsympathetic voice?

She remembered their conversation in the hospital. His voice there was filled with annoyance, but it had been tinged with worry and care. Even at her so called sister birthday party, when she brought up Vatsal, there wasn't this sense of aloofness in his tone.

Blinking slowly, she felt a tug at her heart. She never realized it until now, but something about him brought back a sense of familiarity. It was as if her mind wanted to reminisce but the memory she wanted to pull out was kept out of her grasp. But what was it? What was her brain trying to for force her to remember?

When she tried to think about what it was, her heart began to pound in pain as it always would. It felt as if her own memories were locked away from her, by something or someone.... And she couldn't figure out why it was hidden away from her.
