Now in Sandgem Town, Ash and Chloe are wondering where Dawn and Goh are. Based on a novel she's read, Chloe theorizes that the Gates could connect to different worlds. They start wondering if there is a Pokémon with the power to travel between worlds, and Ash quickly remembers that Palkia can do so. Chloe consults her Rotom Phone, which confirms their assumptions about Palkia's ability to travel between dimensions, and says more information about it can be found at the Canalave Library. Ash and Chloe travel to the library, but before they can find anything, they're spotted by Cynthia. Ash introduces Chloe to her and tells her that they're looking for information about Palkia. Understanding they're looking into the recent Pokémon disappearances, Cynthia tells them about Dialga and Palkia, as well as the Pokémon said to have created them, Arceus.
While Cynthia is in the library, Y/N focus on his power trying to stopped Dialga and Palkia. Ash, Chloe, and Cynthia exit the library while coming to the conclusion that Palkia is behind the recent incidents. Suddenly, the alternate version of Team Rocket appears next to them to steal more of their Pokémon. Cynthia sends out her Garchomp, whose Dragon Claw clashes with Meowth's Slash. Cynthia tells Garchomp to follow up with Outrage, but the suddenly becomes unable to use the move. A similar result occurs when Ash tries to have Pikachu use Thunderbolt. Wobbuffet launches a pair of electric nets to capture the two Pokémon, but Y/N calls out Charizard, whose Flamethrower tears the nets apart. Seeing their capture operation is being jeopardized, Team Rocket decides to retreat, with Ash and Chloe leaping through the closing Gate after them. The regular Team Rocket, having landed on a nearby tree following their blast-off, witness all of this, and soon see a Gate opening right next to them as well.
In the dark dimension
Ash and his friends find themselves in an odd, dark dimension, where they immediately find Dialga and Palkia locked in a fierce clash and opening Gates in the process. Before they can do anything to stop them, alternate Team Rocket appears before them and sends out their Pokémon. Ash and Goh do the same, but the time reversal immediately causes all of their Pokémon to revert into Eggs. In Team Rocket's cage, Ash and Goh see Lucario and Inteleon, who quickly start to devolve, along with the other Pokémon held in the cage. Alternate Jessie and James reveal that they are the ones responsible for Dialga and Palkia's battle, all thanks to the Red Chain which contains the power of Arceus. Thanks to Palkia creating Gates and all life forms being rewound by Dialga, Team Rocket plans to collect all the reverted Pokémon and Eggs for themselves. And once Dialga and Palkia have tired themselves out with their battle, they will them and raise the stolen Pokémon and Eggs to serve Team Rocket, making their conquest of the world all the easier.
Just then, alternate Goh, Chloe, Ash, and Dawn arrive to join the battle. Ash and his alternate self head forward to break the Red Chain, while, Goh, Dawn, Chloe, and their counterparts battle Team Rocket. However, amidst of the battle, Dialga's time reversal strikes everyone with such force that even the protective suits break. The surge of power sends Team Rocket blasting off through a Gate, turns Ash, his friends, and their counterparts into toddlers, and reverts all of their Pokémon into Eggs.
In the original world Y/N successfully opened a portal to the dimension, he and cynthia entered the portal and saw the group... become children and their pokemon already become eggs.
Y/N : Ash, you still can use your power?
Ash : *try it* just a small amount
Alternate ash : What power?
Y/N : Nevermind
Y/N open a multiple portal around the two worlds. Through Gates in both the regular and alternate world, people join in on praying for their Pokémon to be brought back. Reacting to the group's desperate pleas, a shining image of Arceus appears from the Red Chain, Y/N bow down before makes red chain disappear, finally stopping Dialga and Palkia's fight. The two immediately start undoing the results of their battle and send the group to alternate Sandgem Town, where they return to their normal ages and their and everyone else's Pokémon are returned to normal. With everything returning to normal, Ash, his friends, and their Pokémon are pulled back to their own world, bidding farewell to their alternate selves.
Arriving back to their own world, Ash and his friends, secretly followed by the Team Rocket trio, are happy to see that everything is back to normal. In the dark dimension, Dialga and Palkia with Y/N said their goodbye before part ways.

In the next few days the couple decided to rest for the days. Y/N drank some medicine to recover fast and cynthia helped him out. Then, when Y/N finally recovered he got a report that Ash already in top 15, cynthia surprised but Y/N proud with his student.

Few days later on their adventure to learned more about pokemon Y/N get a signal from Ash that he is fighting with Articuno so to make Ash more challenged Y/N told articuno to not hold back fighting, so Articuno won in the end.

Today is the day where Ash gonna battle Raihan, the strongest gym leader.
As a new day begins in the Galar Region, Ash and Lucario arrived at the city of Hammerlocke, eagerly waiting for their World Coronation Series entrance battle. Arriving in front of the Hammerlocke stadium, Ash is greeted by his opponent Raihan. They both express their determination to win, only to be interrupted when they notice none other than Leon waking up from behind a nearby bush, having come early so he wouldn't miss the match. He encourages Ash and Raihan to give their all in the upcoming battle.
Meanwhile with Y/N and cynthia, Cynthia is in the VIP room with the other Master Eight while Y/N giving commands about the upcoming battle.
Inside the Stadium, the stands are filled with lots of people eager to witness the last entrance battle of the season. Ash and Raihan enter the battlefield and are introduced to the audience, with Raihan receiving plenty of cheering from the people of his hometown. Referee Dan explains that the match will follow the Master Eight Tournaments rules, with both sides using three Pokémon each and being allowed to switch them at any time as many times as they want. In addition, either side may only use one of either Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, or Dynamax per battle. At Dan's signal, both sides send out their first Pokémon. Ash's choice is Dragonite, while Raihan goes with Flygon, making the first round a clash between types.

With the season's final entrance battle completed, the eight Trainers advancing to the Masters Eight Tournament have been decided. In addition to Ash, who is now ranked eighth, said Trainers include, Lumiose Conference winner Alain; Kalos Champion Diantha; Champion of Johto, Lance; Hoenn Champion Steven; Leon, Galar Champion; Sinnoh Champion Cynthia; and Y/N, the undefeated Monarch and Kanto Champion.
Y/N so proud that ash has become one of the Eight Masters now and can't wait until their battle
