MORNING TIME, JAISALMER
As dawn painted the room with a gentle glow, Abhay's eyes met the serene tableau of Kashi, her rhythmic breaths creating a delicate melody in the quiet stillness of their shared morning. The warmth of the sunlight whispered tales of tranquility, casting a tender spell over the scene.
A subtle smile played on Abhay's lips, concealing the unspoken emotions that quietly engulfed his soul in that moment of silent introspection.
"Kashi.. just mere thought of losing you grips me with nothing but fear. Fear to lose you, fear to live without you." He said, his fingers gently stroking her cheek.
"Zindagi ban gyi hai aap humari, hamara sab kuch - I have no family but you. No matter what comes my way, losing you is something I can't bear. You're the heartbeat of my world, and I can't imagine facing life without you by my side." Abhay expressed, planting a gentle kiss on her forehead before leaving Kashi undisturbed in the embrace of tranquil sleep.
Abhay got ready and with a last glance at Kashi, he called the nurse.
"Take care of her and if she refuses, call me." He said knowing how stubborn his wife is. The nurse just nodded and he descended the stairs."Rana, I'll be working from here for a few months." Abhay informed.
"Ji, as per your orders," Rana acknowledged, organizing arrangements on the other chamber of the palace.
Meanwhile, Kashi woke up and immediately asked about when she found him missing.
"Where is Abhay?" She asked."He is downstairs," The nurse replied.
Kashi hummed and with the nurse's assistance, she headed to the washroom and got ready. As the nurse placed the dupatta on her head, she hesitatingly asked,
"Mam, can I ask you something?""Yes, go ahead," Kashi replied.
The nurse, with folded hands, questioned, "Why is there not a single woman here in the palace?"
Wearing her bangles, Kashi replied.
"Your Hukum Sa doesn't like, that's why." She replied, warm smile adoring her.The nurse was completely surprised, and immediately inquired, "Why?"
Kashi stood up and explained, "So much has happened in his life that he has distanced himself from everyone. He doesn't want anyone to interfere in his life." The nurse, understanding, remained silent and refrained from further questioning.
